We decided to take a chance on running the Iskut above recommended flows. As it turns out this river can support a lot of water and subsequent trips to ours shows that the run is good to go at higher flows than in the video.
The Iskut is located about an 40-60 minutes south of town of Iskut and just over an hour North of Bell II. It can be run at a range of flows and holds classic BC scenery. It is surprisingly close to Highway 37 at times. The take out is accessed via 7 km hike out up the Ningunsaw river and a mining road. The mining road is active so please be courteous and check-in with the staff at the gate where you park your vehicles (take-out). Let the gate operators know when your party will be hiking up the road and what day you plan on finishing. More beta for this run can be accessed via liquidlore.com. This run is a nice alternative to the Grand Canyon of the Stikine that is close by if the Stikine is on the high side or if running the Stikine is not your piece of pie.
