@@italianrager5831 have you ever been? Obviously not. It is the most insane thing in the world. They come past centimetres away from you, absolutely flat out and the noise cuts through you and turns your legs into jelly. When the first rider goes through, everyone starts shaking and laughing, it's the best spectator sport in the world. As for waiting for hours, I've got no idea where you got that from, it's bullshit. You know what time the race/practice session starts and the roads close about 30 minutes before. So you go to where abouts on the 38 mile course you want to watch, whether thats up on the mountains, in the fields or in one of the towns, and then you set up camp and talk to your mates until the bikes start coming and then there's hundreds of riders so they keep on coming for a while. You turn on the radio, at full volume, and switch to the isle of man tt channel to listen to whose winning the race or setting the fastest lap. It's impossible to explain the feeling, words can't describe it but it's like nothing else on earth. Incredible

Real motor cycle road racing (Isle of Man, Irish road races Macau Grand Prix, etc.) is a true sport whereas F1 is a business. Road racers would love an F1 paycheck (who wouldn't) but hate having to grind around an anodyne, sanitised, computer designed, bloated, kart track sitting in an armoured safety cell in accordance with computer calculated instructions from the pit box to earn it. Not a special breed or mad men (and women don't forget), just people who have an unbelievable passion for their chosen sport.
