From the perspective of a production process, quality can be defined as relative compliance with specifications, to the degree to which a product meets the design specifications, among other things, its quality or also as commonly is to find satisfaction in a product fulfilling all the expectations that a customer seeks, being controlled by rules which must go out to the market to be inspected and have the requirements stipulated by the organizations that certify a product.
Quality is an inherent property of the production or operations system used, the greater the maturity, the closer it will be to meet the client's requirements. Within the production systems Monozukuri, Lean Manufacturing and Toyota Production System the measurement of quality is considered a tactical indicator, in conjunction with the term and cost
From the point of view of VALUE, quality means providing value to the client, that is, offering conditions of use of the product or service superior to those that the client expects to receive and at an accessible price. Also, quality refers to minimizing the losses that a product may cause to human society, showing some interest on the part of the company to maintain customer satisfaction.
A current vision of the concept of quality indicates that quality is giving the client not what he wants, but what he had never imagined he wanted and that once he gets it, he realizes that it was what he had always wanted.
