Check out this tutorial by Rudy RedBear on all of the isolation exercises which build into the more complex movements we do in bachata, especially sensual movements. Think of these as letters which we combine into the words of more complex movements.
Practice these whenever you have a spare minute, maybe each time you get out of a chair, or go to the bathroom, or while waiting in line.
When practicing, always remember:
1. Focus on one thing at a time, don't try to do everything right all the time.
2. Get it right first, no matter how slow and small you have to go.
3. Once you're able to make the correct motions smoothly, then you can add size, speed, and styling.
