When your neck is sore-whether from a poor night's sleep or sudden injury-simple tasks can become challenging. Try these isometric stretches to strengthen your neck muscles:
1️⃣ Side Press. Place your right hand on the side of your head. Brace against the push with your neck muscles at 5/10 intensity. Switch sides.
2️⃣ Forehead Press. Interlace your fingers in front of your forehead. Press your forehead into your hands using your neck muscles.
3️⃣ Back Press. Interlace your fingers behind your head. Gently press your head against your hands with your neck muscles.
Repeat throughout the day with 30-second holds on each side at 5/10 intensity.
