The Russian company Efko, the manufacturer of Sloboda mayonnaise, which is popular in the country, tested the Hi-Fly Cargo cargo drone. This is the second project of the Hi-Fly series after the prototype air taxi, which we talked about earlier. The cargo UAV uses 75% Russian components, and the next option is expected to be 100% domestic. During the tests, the developers tested the drone with a container containing 100 kilograms of cargo, and then transporting a long 80 kilogram cargo on an awning, simulating a wounded person. The drone is designed to carry cargo or transport the wounded. The device is equipped with electric motors and lithium-ion batteries. The company said that the drone is capable of lifting loads weighing up to 170 kilograms, flying at speeds up to 100 kilometers per hour and traveling up to 20 kilometers. Judging by the description of the project on the company's website, in the future it plans to change the design of the drone and bring its payload up to 220 kilograms, and its range up to 600 kilometers.
