Wow, I loved your reaction, and the concept of choosing the song randomly is great! Eden is first of all an Israeli and a Jewish, she only lived several years in Russia because of her parents, that's it. After October 7th, we always say that how lucky we are that we have a strong army that protect us from the pure evil, and how sad are the ukrainian people that need to stand in the front of such "strong" and crazy country as Russia. I hope that the war between you and Russia will end soon 🙂 We will vote for your song for sure, it's highly emotional song and it's one of my favorites (IL, Ukrain, Italy, Greece, Luxemburg, Armenia ---> are some favorites)

Asking Israel to stop fighting in Gaza is just like asking Ukraine not to respond to Russia's attack on Ukraine. Israel was attacked on the seventh of October by the most murderous terrorist organization in the world and Israel is doing everything to protect its citizens just like any other country in the world would do. The fact that Russia supports Hamas. There is a saying that says "Show me who your friends are and I'll tell you who you are". We in Israel understand you and your suffering in Ukraine 🇮🇱❤️🇺🇦

A good review. You are a professional. I thought it would be better if you had not mentioned your personal feelings about Eden Golan. It is unfair to judge her for decisions that her parents made. She did nothing wrong and has nothing to hide. In any case your personal feelings about her are of no interest. I am an American Jew whose grandparents were born in Ukraine. I will always support Ukraine and I am so sorry for what you are going through. God Bless You and keep you safe.

Eden is phenomenal!! The lyrics are sublimely meaningful and simple. I have watched this over a hundred times (no exaggeration). I actually listened to it in one day, alone, from morning to sun-down. How can a song and the singer evoke the same trembling traveling upwards from the spine accompanied by weeping. Are the angels weeping with me? Is this song divinely inspired? Eden's singing these lyrics alone transcends Eurovision. A Masterpiece!! A 1️⃣2️⃣+ from Washington. ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🤎🖤🤍 There is only one ideal in the world, which is the light of knowledge - the light of truth. Abhijit Naskar 🇮🇱 ✡️✨💫🕊️🌍🕊️💫✨✡️ 🇮🇱

I am so sorry about Ukraine for the past 2+ years. It is so sad, and so UNNECESSARY. I always saw Ukraine & Russia and sister-countries. People like Putin should not exist. Should not. They are taking good beautiful people to war and death. They are the biggest criminals in history, Both Ukranian & Russians are beautiful people, and now look - there is so much bad blood, and for what? for one evil person. I also feel for Israeli people, after the massacre of 7/10. The things the terrorists did to these people is unbelievable. And they still hold 133 hostages, mostly dead now as the killed them, so just bodies left. But Jewish people want also the bodies of hostages. Eden Golan lived in Russia, but she is not Russian. She always say how difficult it was for her in Russia. I hope you will forgive her. Thank you for a beautiful reaction. God bless you Mila! 💞

Eden's parents are Jews from Ukraine and Latvia, not Russian. Her father moved to Russia with the family as part of his work when Eden was 6 years old and they left Russia and returned to Israel when Russia invaded Ukraine. A complete article about Eden was published in the 7 Nights supplement of Yedioth, which came out today, which tells, among other things, about the anti-Semitic violence in Russia and the physical and mental violence that Eden experienced as a Jewish girl who had to hide her Judaism in Russia and how she always felt like a foreigner and unwanted there, And how her only consolation was her musical talent that stood her ground in the face of all the anti-Semitism and evilness that was directed at her there. Until her return to Israel where she feels at home, loved and accepted, Because this is her true home as a Jew and for all Jews. The only place in the world where Jews are not persecuted because they are Jewish.

Thank you for your reaction Mila. But I really don't understand why as a Ukrainian you dislike Eden. Besides the fact that one of her parents is Ukrainian and living in Russia because of her father's job is not her fault. Eden also mentioned that it was hard for her to move there and that the Russian community never really accepted her. By the way; Eden and her parents moved back to Israel earlier than planned because they don't support the war started by Russia. So please, save all the bad feelings to people who deserve it and not to someone like Eden who is literally on the same side as yours.

We have war going for 10 years at this point. And 8 out of those 10 years she lived in Russia, she performed under Russian flag (nomination on junior Eurovision) and performed in Crimea (what her parents thought, letting her doing that, especially as her mom is Ukrainian????). I cannot close my eyes on that and be all sunshine and rainbows sorry
