Ramzy Baroud provides a thorough analysis which is useful to all of us who want to provide a rational defence for the Palestinian cause. Many thanks.

Not just for taxpayers, but if US leaders allow themselves to be ensnared into a regional conflict, American soldiers too will lose their lives at a time when the overall mood is against never-ending wars and with the US forces having difficult to find servicemen to pay the blood tax for the military-industrial complex and foreign countries.

@@carrerau7138let's do a brief online search, which leads to a July 10, 2024 Gallup poll > 'Americans continue to be more likely to oppose than support Israel’s military action in Gaza, but public backing has increased slightly since Gallup’s prior reading in March. The 42% of U.S. adults who currently approve of the military campaign is up six percentage points, while the 48% who now disapprove is down seven points.'

Since Ramzy is in Seattle, and I am in Seattle.... I want to say I highly and deeply respect the artist Macklemore's integrity in standing up for humanity and for the Palestinian people in opposition to these war crimes. It is a very brave thing he did and he is paying a high price. Ryan has earned my deepest respect as a human being and I promise you Ryan, this is worth far more than any amount of money. I got your back brother.

Powerful and important explanations. Especially useful for all those people here, there and everywhere, who kept questioning why this country doesn't do this for that country and why the other country doesn't do such and such for this country. In short, because -They have their good reasons -Just like the people, countries can help each other in certain ways without resorting to acting stupid. -Just like every family, every country's first responsibility has to be towards it own citizens no matter how frustrated they would get with injustices elsewhere. However it seems as some people, regardless of their past contributions to the good cause, now are too worried about some potential consequences in the west or their satellites elsewhere by discrediting different actors within the anti-hegemonic solidarity circles.

The slogan "from the river to the sea" is acctually from the Likud charter from 1976 whom called for only a Israel and the destruction of Palestine. The palestinians later adopted this zionist slogan. The phrase was also used by the Israeli ruling Likud party as part of their 1977 election manifesto which stated "Judea and Samaria will not be handed to any foreign administration; between the Sea and the Jordan there will only be Israeli sovereignty." This slogan was repeated by Menachem Begin.

Speaking of the square alliance… It’s even clearer as to why all neighbors and potential allies were weakened first. Imagine Iran, Syria, Egypt, Lybia at full strength. It would have been much more difficult to isolate those populations. They have methodically destroyed and divided that region to better conquer it.

"An Oxford University study interviewing 23 of RT's journalists noted that it regularly hired personalities with little or no experience, often making employment offers before they graduated from college, so that it could influence their work more easily. One of its leading personalities, Rachel Blevins, was recruited from her work on fringe websites and radio networks; she accepted the RT offer largely because it was in line with her left-wing and "anti-imperialist" philosophies far more than other American networks, and she continued to defend the network until (and after) its demise." A Russian puppet....
