For those who claim that Palestine belongs to the Jews, I will tell you may be yes, but the truth is that People's religion changed according to the circumstances in which they lived with the progress of time , how ? That land been invaded by many empires Rome, Greece, and Muslim, and end with English, and ppl after the born of the messiah, and a lot of them converted to christianity, and same when Muslim took over the country, . still they are the same ppl no matter what their faith !!!! they are still same ppl who have been there all time , can someone tell me what’s the background of that ppl who occupied palistine now, just somewhere in Europe with European DNA 🧬 ppl plz don’t be brainwashed, they fools everyone , Yes you can be a Jew or Christian or Muslim or not a believer and still you are a Palestinian, like any other country, Free palistine , and god bless his land .!!! The Zionists stole the land, unfortunately, they killed the Palestinian people, starved their children, and abandoned the people, leaving nothing behind, even history is falsified, and the facts are hidden

@@flagstonetrucking2833 You're delusional, Jews - one ancient nation, not religion. palestines - arabs, their first appearance in this land was in the 7 century AD and they came to this land as invaders. The Zionists didn't stole the land but legally bought it with their own money.

Pod and capsule hotels are the best invention ever for solo travelers, and I´m stingy. You´re not going all that way just to sit in a hotel room all day. It´s better than just open bunks with random strangers. Personally for me, the lack of private space actually seems to motivates me to go out and walk around. It helps me come out of my shell, and brush up on my interpersonal skills.

The state of Israel didn't exist til 1948 when 40% of the Mandate of Palestine was gifted to the Jewish people. Jews made up 8% of the local population at that time. Now Israel occupies 74% of that original Mandate of Palestine. Palestinians were forcibly removed from some areas and thousands died, lost their assets and farms. USA and GB have history supporting apartheid and far right states and dictatorships - Israel, Ukraine, Saddam, Pinochet, Pol Pot, South Africa during apartheid, Noriega etc. The once victim is the now master.....or so he believes.

History. For the first 300 years after the death of Jesus Christ, Christianity struggled for survival in the pagan Roman Empire. Today's distinction between the Eastern Orthodox and Western (Roman Catholic and Protestant) churches did not exist. A turning point in church history came in 313 when Roman Emperor Constantine the Great granted Christians freedom to practice their religion. He called the First Nicene Council in 325. This was the first of seven ecumenical councils held between 325 and 787. The councils established church organization and doctrine (see Nicene Councils). In 330, Constantine moved his capital from Rome to a new city which he named in his honor, Constantinople (now Istanbul, Turkey). The city became the center of eastern Christendom. The year 1054 is generally considered the date of the schism (split) between the Eastern and Western churches. The two churches had been drifting apart for hundreds of years before the final schism. Many polit-cal, cultural, and geographical factors contributed to the final split. Two religious issues are generally considered the chief causes of the break. One issue concerned a phrase added to the Nicene-Constantinopolitan Creed called the filioque. Another issue was the Roman papal claims to authority over the entire church. Both issues • led to a historic dispute in the 800's between Photius, patriarch of Constantinople, and Pope Nicholas I (see Photius). Disputes continued until, in 1054, delegates of Pope Leo IX issued an anathema (solemn curse of ex-communication) against the patriarch of Constantinople. The patriarch then summoned a council that excommunicated the papal delegates. In 1204, Western Christians on the Fourth Crusade increased the bitterness between Eastern and Western churches when they partially destroyed Constantinople. In 1453, the Ottoman Turks captured Constantinople. The conquerers, who were Muslims, ruled most Ortho- Eastern Orthodox Churches 43 dox Christians until the 1800's. Only in Russia, then under the rule of the czars, did the Orthodox church remain free of Muslim control. Under the Muslims, the patriarch of Constantinople was considered the senior . • bishop of all Orthodox believers. Muslim power declined during the 1800s, and several Orthodox churches gained self-government as subject peoples won their in-dependence. Ecumenical Patriarch Athenagoras I held a historic meeting with Pope Paul VI in 1964 in lerusalem. The meeting was the first between a patriarch of Constantinople and a pope since 1439. In 1965, the two religious leaders lifted the mutual anathemas of 1054. Organization. The Eastern Orthodox Churches consist of several independent and self-governing churches and some churches that are not completely self-govern-ing. Four of the self-governing churches hold places of special honor for historical reasons. They are, in order of seniority, the churches of Constantinople (in Turkey), Alexandria (in Egypt), Antioch (Damascus, Syria), and Je-rusalem. Other major self-governing churches, in order of size, are the churches of the Soviet Union, Romania, Serbia, Greece, Bulgaria, Georgia (in the Soviet Union), Cyprus, Czechoslovakia, Poland, Albania, Finland, and Sinai (in Egypt). Eastern Orthodox Churches give the greatest honor to the leader of the Church of Constanti-nople, who is called the ecumenical patriarch. But the ecumenical patriarch has jurisdiction only over his own church. Eastern Orthodox Churches located in western Eu-rope, North America, central Africa, and the Far East are not yet fully self-governing. They were established by missionaries and settlers from Orthodox Church con-tries and are supervised by a self-governing church. Nearly all people in Greece and Cyprus belong to an Eastern Orthodox church. The church cooperates closely with the government in these countries. But in the Soviet Union and other Communist countries, the government discourages membership in the church. Clergy. There are three major orders of Orthodox clergy- bishops, priests, and deacons. There are also two chief minor orders-subdeacons and readers. The priesthood includes married and monastic clergy. Most married priests head parishes. Monastic clergy usually live in monasteries. Parochial clergy can marry only before ordination. Once ordained, priests and deacons cannot marry. Only unmarried priests can become bish-ops. Deacons, subdeacons, arid readers assist the priest during religious services. The spiritual life and administration of Eastern Orthodox Churches are governed by the principle of shared responsibility between the clergy and laity (nonclergy). The laity often take part in the administration of their church and in the election of their clergy. Doctrines. Eastern Orthodox Churches teach that their church is faithful to the teachings of the Apostles and free from errors in matters of doctrine. But they do not believe that any one verson in the church is infalli ble. The Bible and holy traditior are the most important sources of Eastern Orthodox teacHings. Daily church services are based on the Bible, especially on the Psalms. The services also include many hymns and prayers that reflect the Biblical teachings. The Nicene-Constantinopolitan Creed expresses the
