In 1957, Lea‘s parents left Wrocklaw (DE: Breslau) for Israel, as Shoah Survivors. Lea became a teacher, an educator and also a researcher on a plethora of aspects of the Shoah. Reconciliation work through education between Israel, Germany and Poland is very dear to her heart. In addition, her Mashmaut Center provides an important contribution to educate (international) Jewish, Christian and further Israeli groups in the Haifa region (mashmautcenter.co.il/en/).
Inga Ecker, a travel journalist and IT professional (Inga Ecker | Vastfreedom - Mountains, Adventures & Travels vastfreedom.com/), interviews Lea on her life and priorities. The interview is conducted in Israel, organized and recorded by Daniel Mueller, board member Witness of Witnesses (Zeugen der Zeitzeugen e.V. www.zeugen-der-zeitzeugen.de/en). In the interview, the full meaning of the acronym Mashmaut is revealed.
Watch, learn and see for yourself 😊.
