Lil Skeet lol right? BR2049 is a magnificent film in its own right and probably one of the best films of the 21st century. Anyone who appreciates the original should enjoy 2049 especially because DenniV paid such huge fan service to us. There was a lot of concern that they were going to butcher a beloved classic and were extremely lucky we got such a great film in today’s world of watered down sequels and reboots. I mean they actually built the futuristic downtown LA of 2049 in miniature scale instead of rendering it in all CGI. Why? Because that’s what the original did and the original’s special effects were ground breaking and the effects and the film itself went on to inspire an entire generation of film makers. Blade runner 2049 is a masterpiece in its own right as is the original.

No Country for Old Men was set in 1980, can't understand why they didn't just use the 1100, the 11-87 came out in 1987. Minor detail for gun nerds.
@Rhetorical346
6 жыл бұрын
Should have been a pump, honestly. Semi auto shotguns back then were finicky enough, then you add a suppressor on the end and you get a whole 'nother host of problems. Use an 870 and it would solve all of that, and be quieter to boot.
@marzcapone9939
6 жыл бұрын
Rhetorical346, Well you know how they are in movies, the whole thing looked cool, and that's more important than realistic performance. I have an 1100 from the 70's and it runs pretty damn well, but never put a suppressor on it. I do agree about using a pump/suppressor for reliability though.

Oxycontin Gucci it was a shotgun, specifically a “twelve gauge Remington automatic with a plastic military stock and a parkerized finish. It was fitted with a shopmade silencer fully a foot long and big around as a beercan.”

TheGaminWeasel, seems like you're quoting the book. I've not read it, but I love the movie. WAY too many movies use predictable music manipulation to tell you who is the good guy, or what to feel and when. The Choen Bros use time, space, and silence to set the tone and atmosphere. I'm still of the opinion they could have used the 1100, don't know why I really care, I own both and just happens it's my 11-87 with a plastic stock and the parkerized finish. I didn't know it wasn't the 1100 till somebody else pointed it out in another YT video.
