I can still get my front thrust kick up to chin level with knock-out power. However, in a real fight I'd probably never aim above sternum level with that kick. Crushing my opponent's ribs seems like a good option. According to Gunnery Sergeant Stocks (retired Army Ranger) A good thrust kick hits with about 2000 pounds force PLUS 4x your body weight. This is enough to break ribs and sternum on impact, so there is no need for high-risk "head kicks".
