Interesting video Kev, wonderful work! The other day I had a customer that had a view that just appeared for the user. And she really wanted to get the normal settings back. The feature to "restore to standard view" did not help at all. In the end when I ran out of ideas, I really even tried to create a new outlook profile , even that did not work so I went back to her old. What did work actually was to go into another subfolder under inbox (it was the inbox that had a strange look to it, every row was smaller and with like another font etc)... so when we went and clicked on the folder "drafts" that had the right appearance/view, we just saved that view and then wend back to inbox forder and applied the settings on that folder aswell. Problem solved. But until I got that, I was stressed out haha

Hi there, subscribed...:) really love the way you explain......and an IT Support have 2 question. 1) do you disable windows 10 upgrades through policy for end users, as you know it crashes sometimes and it really hard for me to manage. 2) Let's say there's shared network folder named A, I created subfolder under it as AB and BC, CD.., for AB folder I want only specific users to have access. others can see AB folder but can't open it or see files inside. is there a way in windows server 2016? Really want to meet you man...thank you

Look at the job description, read information about the company online using glassdoor, see which company is paying more and has room to grow. I will go based on salary, room to grow, company review and schedule.

Office 365 is just office products like word, excel, PowerPoint, outlook. Exchange admin stuff you do on the back end like making mailboxes, distribution groups, blocking emails, etc. There different types of office 365, some include Exchange when you buy it and some just have office suite.

I had disabled and then renabled Outlook on the web. It's not working anymore in my VM, keeps giving me the 'something went wrong error', but when I signed on with my actual machine it works, weird.

I have question about Skype for Bussiness 😀 (as you said you are admin for it, so you maybe know) I have a SIP address in Skype for Busdiness and in team we are using hunt groups with Skype for bussiness on-premise servers. (So when someone call on this hunt group it rings for everyone in team on their Skype for bussiness) We are also using Teams in team. What happens if my account will be configured to “Teams only” mode? Will the group calls work (as they worked on SFB? Will it ring on Teams instead of Skype? Or it won’t work at all? 🤔 I couldn’t find answer anywhere on internet about it. 😕

That's a good question I don't know. I would shut it off for one person like yourself and test it first before pushing it on everyone else.

Well, I am not Skype for Bussiness admin so I don’t really have rights to change it. But I signed as tester for Teams Only mode in our company. So I will know the answer in few days, but I am kind of scary if it will work or no. 😀 If it won’t work I would probably have to rollback, because these hunt groups are really important in my job.

@@KevtechITSupport Yes. Its the sent items moved not incoming inbox items. I had to open a service ticket directly with Microsoft, because other guides I seen (including the one you linked) didn't work. :/

@@KevtechITSupport There were no rules. The Microsoft tech, told me that he saw MOMT client deleting items. But there was no add-ins nor rules present to do it. So it's unknown why it's happening. The only options I have is to run outlook on safe mode and see if items still get deleted or reinstalled a clean Microsoft Suite.

A+ is for helpdesk but doesn't cover active directory or office 365. There not really a cert for helpdesk stuff.

I can open the *other users outlook* I gave myself access to be able to, but in your video it shows that users account email now in your email as well..not sure what I did wrong.
