4 chicken breasts

1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
1 tbsp soy sauce
add 90 g (1/3 cup) pekmez (or syrup)

INGREDIENTS:
3-4 chicken breasts
Salt and black pepper
1/4 cup/30 g flour
3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil, plus more as needed
3 tablespoons unsalted butter
3-4 cloves of garlic
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
Red pepper flakes
1 cup/240 ml low sodium chicken broth
3/4 cup/180 ml heavy cream
1/2 cup/45 g grated Parmesan
1/3 cup sun-dried tomatoes, seasoned with oil
Fresh basil
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Using a sharp knife, cut the chicken breasts into diamond shapes.
2. Season both sides of each breast generously with salt and pepper.
3. Heat the olive oil and melt the butter over medium heat.
4. Dredge chicken in flour and shake off excess.
5. Fry the chicken for 4-5 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through. Transfer to a plate.
6. Reduce heat to low, add garlic and cook, stirring frequently, until fragrant, 1 to 2 minutes.
7. Increase the heat to medium, add the broth and bring to a boil, scraping up any excess from the bottom of the pan.
8. Add 1/2 cup cream and heat, stirring, until slightly thickened, about 3 minutes.
9. Add Parmesan. Let the sauce simmer for a couple of minutes.
10. Season with thyme, oregano, red pepper flakes and a pinch of salt. 11.Add the sun-dried tomatoes, then return the chicken to the sauce and let the sauce simmer and thicken for about 4 minutes.
12. Garnish with chopped fresh basil leaves.
