It's been a while since my last upload. Have moved interstate so now that things are slowly getting back to rhythm, I have redone one of my favourite hymns, It is Well.
This tune originally written by Horatio Spafford in the late 1800's went through a modern day Job like story. He owned a thriving business, owned multiple properties and boasted a large family having five children. In his life he experienced the loss of his son to a disease, lost property due to fires, and then lost all his remaining children in a boat accident as they where travelling to Europe. Spafford was back in America, held up on busieness. As soon as Horatio received a telegram from his wife, letting him know she was the only survivor in the boat incident, he booked passage over to Europe on another boat. While on the vessel, he penned the lyrics to this now timeless song. "Whatever my lot, thou hast taught me to say, it is well, it is well with my soul."
A song for those who are experiencing adversity, undue stress or hardship.
I hope you enjoy it :)
