It appears to be an enjoyable excursion. You will gain new knowledge. Furthermore, no one wears protective gear except for a helmet. I can comprehend it given the high dew points, but it does appear to be quite dangerous, particularly in that location.

I think it’s mostly due to the slow riding speeds as well as financial culture differences.

Yes. People on bikes wearing shorts and tennis shoes give me the willies. We see it here in the states, too. For the uninitiated, those leather jackets and big boots aren't fashion statements.

Agree, if you ride around in a local area, you will get used to knowing what sides of the road to travel on each street. You make ridin around look easy Chris! Be Safe...Jim

Being a hub for business on Cebu, the one thing I noticed in your drive around is that it's not cram packed like in Manila, at least not yet 😊. Been to Ayala Mall but that was 13 yrs ago and I'm sure much has changed since then. We mostly visit the Pampanga region on Luzon because that's where my wife and her family are from.

Hi Chris I am a new subscriber . I have watched some of your older video and enjoyed them. I am looking forward to your trip with Chad. One of the most important things I would like to know is how safe you feel traveling through Mindanao. I just moved from Dumaguete to the province of Capiz, Roxas City love it here. Thanks for the ride of IT park.

Thanks for the tour. Eighty-nine degrees (89°F) is fine by me. As much as I prefer the CBP area, I am gravitating towards Riala or perhaps, 38 Park in ITP as it's only a 4-minute - 0.16-mile walk to the Cebu Country Club accross the street. My golf gear is coming with me. It's all packed and ready to go. Yet another reason for me to opt for getting a car rather than a bike as I intend to play every golf course or any semblance of it along the way during slow-travel road trips. This X3 bike footage is a bit bouncy. It could trigger motion sickness or vertigo 😁. Was it on the rigid bike mount or on the floppy backpack mount? The GPS remote telemetry is very distracting. It is difficult to get immersed in the scene with it on full time. But that's just me.

The bike is a bit rigid as it’s more road biased. I’m thinking with my next bike that’ll be resolved. The information is only in my riding videos and I’m a fan. One of the challenges with riding videos I feel is keeping folks engaged. I like the data as a way to hopefully accomplish that. Regardless, thanks for watching and commenting. Hope you’re great there.

I’ll take your Cebu traffic, over Metro Manila’s any day! BGC/Makati, and downtown Manila are similar. But go east of there, on EDSA, Marcos hwy, Ortigas Ext, and Felix blvd., those are NUTS! 😲 I call those areas the ‘belly of the beast’! And those are the roads I’m exposed to, every day 🥵 But only for 6 more months, until the lease on my condo expires. Then I’ll be getting out of the Metro area, and into better traffic.🤞
