The more A.I. floods the market, the more I will dedicate my time towards traditional skills!. Traditional art will become more sought after as a result!.💯🎯

@@Ty-1452 ..For certain tasks yes, but I have tested A.I. and it has its limits!. But I do acknowledge A.I. is in its Infancy, and destined to improve rapidly!. But I feel that there will always be a niche market for traditional works of art!.🤔

Is it weird that I'm not really into selling my art? Not saying my Work is good enough to sell yet. But I don't think I could ever let my Art go.

A 70% contraction in commercial listings in China, predominately attributed to the adoption of AI in workflows, is not the best time to be an artist. This is a huge cope from Watts. He knows that the consequences will inevitably reach his business. There's not much point in negativity, but being realistic and admitting the circumstances is superior to deceitful optimism. Yes, if you're the top 20% you won't be impacted beyond having to adopt AI in your own work, but for everybody else it's going to mean dramatically less opportunity.

i completely agree with him, however being all skill isnt particularly any better. representation art without any creativity can be just as boring. plenty of artist who are not exactly the most precise, have undoubtedly left their mark....james jean, kim jung gi, jack kirby, john romita, and a ton of others.

AI kind of garbage, tbh Unless you want chicks with 3 eyes it's only good at replicating oversimplified cartoon style.

@@nananina982 How will it "get even better"? Explain in what sense will it get better? Who will make use of it? It can already make soulless hyperrealistic crap, will it make even more hyperrealistic crap? Will it allow you to pretend you're some other artist even harder through LoRA parasitism? Good luck making fan art without waiting for artists to make the data for the theft machine first. At the end of the day, when I look at AI gargle, it only makes me think what artists were preyed on.

@@crepooscul That's not even mentioning the fact that the forefront of this technology, OpenAI, is under heavy scrutiny and lawsuits over their unlawful use of online data. The cherry on top is their CEO admits there is a diminishing return to scaling up the current models they use, and newer more advanced models will have to be painstakingly stitched together by humans and researchers before any advancements can be made, which could take decades.

the fact that it can mimick any artists style pretty accurately makes it quite good. Ive seen ai generated images that are remarkably close to Frazetta style . Greg Rutkowski is another big case and plenty more. Sure there are mistakes in the anatomy and perspective here and there but those will get ironed out . Dont get me wrong I hate AI with all my being but it exists, sadly.@@crepooscul
