I saw your earlier videos of Eurythmics Missionary man and Beethoven and it didn't seem like you were in to them really at all. I figured if you did a few more you'd come around. This is the only song / video they ever did where Annie doesn't look angry, stern, or wicked creepy. The first time I ever saw it I laughed my butt off because you never see Annie look happy, let alone delirious like she does here. This is a great choice and I'm glad you finally found a Eurythmics song you liked and realized she has a great voice. I think she's up there with the gal from Heart as far as great female rockers go. She doesn't do the metal and hard stuff like Heart but as a vocalist she has all the depth of their singer. I think you should take another look at Beethoven and Missionary Man that you looked at before and didn't seem to care for that much.

The Eurythmics were my favorite group from the '80s, and then Annie Lennox solo is so spectacular. To hear the most haunting song you will ever hear, you should hear Annie's version of "Strange Fruit"...It is literally spine-chilling!

Saw Annie back in about 1993 or so in San Francisco. 1st half was her solo stuff, 2nd half was all Eurythmics. NO ONE was seated for the killer 2nd half. EVERYTHING was amazing. And Annie owned the audience! ✌

Glad to see you are discovering Eurythmics. I'll second the motion that you should check out Here Comes the Rain Again - but for a fun trip through Annie's androgyny, you gotta see Who's That Girl? I think you'd enjoy it.

Annie is so awesome. Dave Stewart's wife in the late 80's was Siobhan Fahey, a member of Bananarama and then Shakespear's Sister with Marcella Detroit, who has a rich music background including having worked with Bob Seger and Eric Clapton.

Annie Lennox can do no wrong lol I knew you'd love this one. STRONGLY recommend the song she did for the DRACULA movie "Love Song for A Vampire" or if you want to stay with her 'peppy' side try "There Must be An Angel (playing With My Heart)"

I didnt know you had some Annie Lennox on your channel. My favorite!!!! A contralto but with a great range. Those are my favorite ladies. Check out: No Fear No Hate No Pain No Broken Hearts. STUDIO version, because the vocals are so great. The calypso was an aberration. Their albums were fun because the variety is there.

I'll suggest LOVE IS A STRANGER, MISSIONARY MAN, and SWEET DREAMS if you haven't done them yet. Annie's solo career was great; WALKING ON BROKEN GLASS, WHY, NO MORE 'I LOVE YOU'S, and especially her cover of Bob Marley's WAITING IN VAIN.

Chris Blackwell owned Island Records and built a state of the art facility that basically everyone recorded at. When you catch an island vibe, it’s usually because they were at Chris Blackwell’s. From The Police to Robert Palmer to on and on…

Here comes the rain again, is a deep moody huge hit that showcases Annie's amazing voice , with a dramatic haunting video too. This song is a lot of fun, but Annie has a stunning voice when called upon by the right song. Hope you get chance to check it out sometime on your Eurythmics journey. 👍

The great thing about this song is it's a total 180 degree turn from Here Comes The Rain Again and Sweet Dreams which are dark and moody. Seeing Annie all deliriously happy compared to all their other videos is so great.

One of the truly uplifting songs by Annie and Dave. Love it! Recommending an Annie L track is so difficult; they're all brilliant in their own way and so diverse in genre. That's one of the strengths of both the Eurythymics and Annie Lennox, they keep you surprised. One of my favourites is actually 'Angel', a song that should be depressing, given its subject matter, but it isn't. It's strangely positive. And Annie's voice is so rich and powerful and moving.

I’m taking partial credit here, since I suggested this in the comments of your “Would I Lie to You” reaction. One of my favorites by them, but you can’t go wrong with any of their music. It was a crime that it topped out at No. 29 on Billboard!
