So it's finally out! GWL and AERS have joined forces to create a containerized Energy Storage System (ESS) for industrial use.
This beauty has a capacity of 580 kWh, but the entire solution is fully scalable so you can choose the final capacity to suit your needs. This is a very versatile backup power source that can easily be used in any manufacturing plant, government institution, charging and petrol stations or even for a housing association.
The heart of the solution is a 360 kW inverter and ThunderSky Winston cells with a capacity of 400 or 700 Ah, which are very robust and are known for their amazing durability.
Summary
This kind of ESS is designed to cover energy consumption peaks that occur during the operation of production facilities or during the start-up of power units of internal equipment of buildings.
ESS ensures the creation of its own energy capacity backup for the operation of a production or commercial facility.
The stations are designed to operate in the following operating modes:
- Reduction of reserved power (distribution of power consumption within 24 hours)
- ¼ hour maximum control
- Protection and energy backup against outages that can cause significant damage to production
- Effective elimination of micro outages
- Network quality control and compensation
