Aw Laura I cried with you there. The countdown is on for the end of my maternity too and I'm dreading it. Keep smiling, having time away from Harrison will make you an even better mummy and he will be able to hang with his buddies too. Good luck for this week xxx

Oh bless you Laura. I almost cried with you. It is super hard but I promise it gets so much easier and the amount they learn and pick up at nursery is unreal so they definitely benefit. Hope you feel better about it all soon x ps. Teeth grinding is evil!!!!

Ohhhh Laura this really choked me up. I hope that you can eventually stay at home with Harrison and do the work you want to from home. His coming along so well can't believe how much his grown. Can't believe he has the same amount of teeth as jacob his 14months haha xxx

Oh you poor thing! I am not a mom so in some ways I can't relate but I really feel for you and I totally get how hard it must be. Just remember that you're working for him! Once you get back into the swing of work it will be alright and you will cherish the weekends and days you do have with him so much! Best of luck, the first week back to work will be tough but you will get there!

heyah, i've been watching your vlogs about motherhood for the past year and i have to say i praise you for your honesty the whole way through, with my mum being a childminder i completely understand how much hard work it is and how difficult it can be to leave your baby! i don't know if they do this in england or if its not very common but my mum cares for a young toddler and baby all day every day in week days and it's great because they're still in a family enviroment, so if you nursery doesn't grow on you, i was just thinking it'd be great to look into to certainly put your own mind at ease 😄 i can't wait til harison is old enough to look back at these videos and see how amazing his mummy is! ❤️

Great video Laura, Harrison is so adorable, you should be so proud. I know how you feel about going back to work, I'm dreading having to go back in August...but loads of people have told me it's not as bad as I'm thinking it will be and gets easier. Could you let me know where Harrison's grey cardigan at the beginning of the video is from, the one with the bear ears on, I would love to buy it for my little boy xxx

My son use to grind his teeth when he was trying to get his teeth through. I completely sympathise with you it's horrible sound that truly goes through you! But it only lasted until the teeth came through. Hopefully that's what Harrison is doing xx

I know its really hard and you just want to stop time but we cant and he will be Ok ...He knows you love him and thats what he will remember about his childhood. Its a great thing him going to Nursery and interacting with other children to begin his lifelong social skills we allhave to go to school and by him going to Nusery now will make that journey to full time school easier for him in the long run . As soon as we have children we all spend all of our time worrying about and feeling guilty for how they make us feel....and it gets no better as they get older ! So embrace the new skills hes going to start learning and cherish every moment -childhood is so short ....enjoy the times together and laugh lots thats the things we remember xxx

Laura :( this made me sad. I did have 4 years off with my daughter, however we got into debt for it and couldn't afford to do nice things together. Going back to work has opened up loads of opportunities, we have nice holidays, mini breaks, meals out, trips out. This is why we as parents work to give our babies the best of things. It will be so hard at first but it will be worth it. Are you going to be office based?
