Besides getting a big laugh out of the pigs zooming around, my biggest laugh was at myself for taking so long to get your joke about “open mike”. 🤣😂😝. I must have had a perplexed look on my face for a few seconds..then I got it and had a good laugh. 😂. Enjoyed the visit. I agree with your ending thoughts...I don’t know where we are going with this. Stay safe and well Pete. 👍❤️

Pete, we just experienced a rare windy storm here at 7500 feet southern Rockies. Took out our county's electricity grid for 3 days. We were prepared with just enough solar marine batteries to power our deep freezers and two refrigerators full of our harvest. My wife tells me that your video about solar was the first she has seen that explained it in useful terms for the lay person. Thank you, Pete. Best Holidays and Solstice to you and your lovely family.

Out on the ranch baling wire was the number one necessity. One of the cowboys was complaining that they were going to the plastic twine. Then Papa in his great wisdom. Said sonny your not thinking it through. all this new stuff is made out of plastic so you need that plastic twine to fix it. Makes perfect sense to me anyhow!

I had a Rhode Island Red named Izzy, took her everywhere in an old round hat box that I cut a hole in the top of for her to stick her head up out of. She was as well known as any other animal or bird in the county. I named her Izzy because when she was little a friend asked, ‘Izzy a hen or Izzy a rooster?’ I love that. The piglets are so cute!

Pete many moons ago knew an old, long time pig farmer, He's been gone long time. one thing he always did was starting two weeks before sows littered he gave em charcoal all they wanted, the natural stuff they eat. Not Brickett's . He rairly lost any piglets. realizing now been many 50 years. so call it old wise tails. he raised some mighty fine hogs in his day. Really enjoy the farm side of your Videos.

I hand raised chickens as a boy. All our chickens would allow us to pick them up. I had a bared rock rooster, Speckle, who was turkey sized...10 pounds or so. He loved when I would carry him around the yard. I always liked how chickens move the heads when you walk while holding them...like they were walking.

I got 2 huge things to say 1. I’m in NJ and myself kids and a bunch of my friends got covid this past week. All vaxed, some had boosters. It’s a cold now, sinus issue and low fever for a few days. Most of us are over 55 and all fine. Seriously, my wife is a dr and vp for a big pharma company, she totally agrees and most of her colleagues agree it’s over. 2. Saw an ad while watching your video bashing small farms. It was how Bayer, the big phama/chemical company are developing fake beef to save planet from climate change. They say small farms are biggest contributor to green house gases. Now that is so irresponsible by them and total bullshit. Natural grass fed meat is one of the best things humans can possibly eat. Fake meat is actually some of the worst things anyone can eat.

@lifeandliberty0172

I agree, wholeheartedly, this fake meat ploy is an obvious attempt to have absolute control over our food. I read an interview with some billionaire who has his own fake meat company, he arrogantly stated that he wants to end all livestock grazing. So untold millions of people are literally expected to give up a millenia old way of life and livelihood, so we can become dependent on a corporation controlled, factory produced product. And yes, they're totally duplicitous on the amounts of energy and fossil fuels it will take to produce these fake meats.
@lifeandliberty0172
2 жыл бұрын
And in addition, I always see these stories about growing produce in facilities in cities, what happens to the food supply when the power goes out at the salad skyscraper, or the fake meat plant? Starvation? What a terrible, terrible plan.
@wileymacknally7999
2 жыл бұрын
I’d like to see them try to market that fake meat as organic… but as stupid as things have gotten I’m sure they’ll convince a portion of the country to believe it is. We need to get back to when people actually thought for themselves and didn’t care about what other people think. I told my mom yesterday that this generation acts just like toddlers, they scream and cry anytime they don’t get their way.

Pete, old boy! Your theory about one door opening and one door closing. Works pretty good with adults. But when you're talking about children? The old adage was were you born in a barn. My children would say no but we were born on a farm yeehaw. Sad to say I've grown children that still have a hard time remembering to close the door. Would be nice if they'd have it the other way and walk into a closed door a couple of times. LOL
