I would add: pay attention to how his mother/family entreats him. That tells a lot too. I was married...started noticing how no one called on him to do anything substantial. I would later learn that he wasn't dependable, trustworthy and lacked integrity.

This was good! I have on my list to have someone that can talk...meaning like when in social arena or even at family functions or when planning they can pick up the phone and speak. Have intelligent conversations with other ppl without standing to the side....that's very important

LOL @Bishop with the “ashy”. Seriously though this was so heavy and needed. Most people don’t think ahead about blending each other’s needs and wants. Dr. Stephanie’s 90 day rule is so true because my grandmother used to say “you want a wife not a knife”. Move to fast you may pay a heavy price. Very informative🙏🏾

Bishop and Lady Steph, this was beautiful! I love you guys. To add to your list, I also have someone I can completely trust. I don't have time to follow anyone or ask who they're talking to. Who values my opinions, cooks, and someone reliable, especially if I'm sick. I was married to a guy who left for about a week while I was home recuperating from a major surgery. Thank God for my Mom. Also, he can sing (Lol). I have no problem with submission, but he has to be worthy of it. I'm leaving it in God's hands because I don't have a clue as to what I'm doing! Jesus, take the whole car!!🤣🚗🙏🏾🙏🏾

Thank you both for this one short and to the point. I'd like someone who loves the Lord more than me and willing to live in another country.😊

💕💕👑👑 What would I add to my list? My auntie told me, before marriage, to make a list of 7 things I wanted in my future husband & pray over it. It's in my lost Bible somewhere @ Inner City. But I would add what my husband is, consistent. That is such a wonderful quality that I didn't know to ask for. Someone that would give their last. My husband will always give me the last peice of some good food/ snack or whatever (maybe that's selflessness). Thank ya'll for creating this space for married couples because we have to keep putting that image out there to break generational curses.
