Great video, I just note that in the word "почемучка" the letter "o" must be pronounced as an "a", since it is not the stressed syllable. In this case the stressed syllable is "му".

Very interesting video! I am a native english speaker (from england) and i only noticed one mistake on pronunciation. When you said "Danish" you spoke it as "Dan-ish" wheras typically it is said as "Dain-ish"

Just thought about it recently Well, as you said, language isn't used only for communication, but also to show our personality and culture, things that translation alone just can't achieve Also, it's important to remember that each individual has its own personal and unique way of using the language (Idiolect) If you listen to 2 speakers of the same language you'll notice that they don't speak/use the language in the same way, and that also cannot be purely translated in any kind of "Google Translate" (no matter how advanced it is)

This is one of the best things in language learning! I can still remember the first time I realised that I couldn't translate a word perfectly. That word is the English word awkward, I just simply can't find one equivalent in Finnish that would cover the whole meaning. 森林浴 is something I'll want to find more about. My country is covered in forests and there is no other place where I feel at such an ease than when I'm surrounded by trees. Also on the topic of untranslatable words and expressions, I imagine you would have met several people with whom you have 2 or more languages in common. Do you feel like you have more profound understanding of each other when communicating? I personally noticed this with Finnish friends that also have a high level of English. It's a lot easier to get my point across when I don't have to restrict myself to the words and expressions of one language. I'm assuming it is like this to others too, but I'd love to hear if you have similar experiences? And I'd especially love to hear if you have felt this when there has been no Korean involved?

Yes, I feel more comfortable with profound understanding when communicating with those who speak more than 2 languages. ☺️

another untranslatable portuguese word: passear (verb) it is usually translated as "to go for a walk" but it can means more things, like hanging out, taking your dog outside or just going somewhere for pleasure and not for obligation. I'm not good at explaining but i hope you understood 😊

As young Vietnamese generation, I find that "đa đoan" is not commonly used in daily conversations, and I even haven't known its exact meanings (untill I see your video 😅 ). I only see this word in old poems (like "Truyện Kiều") or maybe the elderly still use it, but it is not popular nowadays. Besides, we usually use the idiom "quỷ kế đa đoan" to negatively describe a multi-face person that has so many evil (quỷ) plans (kế) or cruel schemes and will harm you someday. Honestly, you are really inspiring. Thanks for your videos, they give me a big enthusiasm to learn foreign languages 😍 Oh, keep learning Vietnamese 😉

In Swedish there is a term called "lagom" that means quite enough, not too less, not too much. I really öike the word because it's so balanced. I'm not from Sweden but teaching myself the language.

btw because Brazilian Portuguese have influences of traditional indigenous languages (mostly tupi/guarani), we have some special words like 'capivara' (capybara), 'guri' (boy but traditionally used for people who lives in the south), 'pipoca' (popcorn), 'mutirão' (it's like a group of people together in a cause, for example to vote someone out in a reality show xD), 'cafuné' (this one is hard to easily explain but like when you cuddle someone in the head dearly, it's usually done by parents or grandparents) and many others.

here in Philippines they translate everything even the word Pokémon as "bulsang halimaw" or pocket monster which sounds really awful and bad .. they turn this to humor or funny joke but actually its really bad not knowing our language is weakening through time .. theyre planning to remove Filipino in schools esp. in high school and tertiary PS: you will always found people in Philippines using transliteration not translation
