I am unsure if this info video was meant as general information but for a TCE player the tongue should already be touching both lips, and no arching of the tongue when ascending. More wedge and more lower lip to tongue isometric when ascending is the go. Love you r videos get thought provoking discussions.

You are correct, but even non-TCE players can benefit from this concept.

A concept I've explored, of late, is the placement of the tongue such that it substitutes for the bottom lip as it rests on the bottom teeth and buzzes in conjunction with the top lip. To some degree the tongue pushes the lower teeth forward as well. All this in an effort to place the internal buzzing chamber close to the teeth. Is this close to what you are describing?

Yup - it is indeed! Except for the bottom lip is also part of this sandwich. Jerome Callet for a bit called it the Tri-labial embouchure...

Hello! Thanks for all the content you share. Do you always keep you jaw in the same position when you change pitch? Did you get your range gradually or you got it at first (after finding the good movement). And then whit time it become stronger. Other way to ask: did the range came because you found the good movement or because you become stronger playing it. Hope it make sense!

I first discovered my range as a Senior in High School, decades ago. But couldn't do it reliable. I've still been trying to find a way to reliably and efficiently produce it so that I can count on it during performances...
