The most courageous woman I have ever met. You were always meant for greater things and I am honored to watch you grow through this.

Dear Rebecca, I am so sorry that this happened to you! I hope and pray that you heal faster than anyone thinks is possible. I first became a subscriber when I watched your well done video on gun rights or lack of them in Connecticut where I used to reside. This video popped up today under “recommended” video’s. It made me so sad to hear your story of what happened but again, your reasoning, intelligence, and resolve came through loud and clear. You are going to be fine physically and mentally because you are tough. Even tougher than you know. I wish you all the best always.... 😀

So hard to watch, but I’m so very proud of you! Your father and I watched together, and I shed more than a few tears. I wish I could have prevented this event😰, but I agree with you that something(s) positive will come out of it. Mostly I just feel love for you and for Stuart, who I am indebted to forever. Love always, from Mama, Papa, Andrew, and Maria💙💚💜💛🧡❤️

When i was 13, neighbors husky/wolf cross grabbed me by the throat, dragged me to the ground. Could feel its wet tongue and teeth on my neck. Thank god, dog let me go. I could hardly talk, crying/tears no words would come out. My dad, no nonsense belfast man, went to neighbors next morning and shot the door. I was told it was another neighbor who killed it, as the dog chased his race horses. 30 years later, dad told me the real story. You are a brave, beautiful young woman with the heart of a warrior. Thank you for telling your story

I haven’t seen this until now😦 I’m So Sorry this happened, I feel so bad for you! I went to look at your newer vlogs and wanted to know why this happened. I know this has been a few weeks now & the worse is over but still shocking to me and again I’m really sorry that this happened! !....I belong to a dog shelter and I hear stories like this happen! I knew a English bull dog who was treating me friendly and not friendly with others then he was sort of week by week not wanting to be kind to anyone anymore, not even me. I wanted to take him out one time and he didn’t want to go, I tried to put a leash on him and came at me. His teeth hit my leg but nothing happened! Then one night my friend tried to take him out. I think my friend had the leash on him and he didn’t want to go out and my friend was petting him on his head and he bit his finger REALLY Bad! He was lost a lot of blood from what I was told! I heard he bit some girl too who works or volunteer for the shelter causing her to to go the hospital! Not sure why, they let the dog get adopted to someone! The same thing happen to her that happened to you! I just don’t know how bad! The woman brought the shelter to court suing the shelter! I don’t know if she got money because I didn’t ask! I don’t want to leave this comment having people thinking a bad way of dogs! There are many dogs at the shelter who are friendly, Loving and Kind! I enjoy being with the dogs and I hope I’m making the dogs/puppies feel better by playing & taking them out for walks while they await for their adoption into a loving family😇 I’m happy you still kept your other dog 🐕😊. Again I’m sorry that this happened to you! Take care of yourself🤗 P.S. I believe taking the right formulated herbs 🌿 and/or drinking ASEA as well rubbing ASEA Renu 28 on that part of your skin can help! I read stories in what Renu 28 does for people and how it can do wonders😀! I currently drink ASEA for health reasons! Let me know if you want to know more about this ASEA water and herbs!

The saddest story I heard was a little girl called Zainabou and she was mauled by pit bulls and they ripped out her tongue, so she cannot talk or eat for the rest of her life. Stupid dogs are not worth it.

Stuart said it perfectly, You are a warrior! and as your Dad said, you have grace- to deal with this in the way that you are is nothing short of remarkable, especially because you continue to honor your feelings. I too believe that everything happens for a reason and everyone that crosses our path is meant to, so thankful that our paths crossed.

Perhaps the purpose of what happened is for you to speak out warning others about dogs. Not keeping dogs around children, especially the fighting breeds.

I definitely think people should be more aware and watchful, especially when it comes to children.... If sharing my experience helps someone protect a child against a dog (and vice versa) that's a win in my book.

@@rebeccagypsysol yes, it sure is. I think you are making a powerful impact by sharing your story. I feel that many people are completely unaware of the dangers that dogs pose, and it seems every week there is another unnecessary fatality. When I see what happened to the innocent old man in San Antonio recently it breaks my heart. Those dogs should never have been let out in the neighbourhood. Also Jacqueline Duran, it's heartbreaking but I don't understand why she doesn't speak out at all and still wants to work with dogs. It seems like a big taboo to say anything against dogs. There is obviously a lot to educate people on about dogs, especially bully breeds. A lot of people would rather stick their head in the sand rather than face reality. It's really something humanity has to come to terms with, that maybe we are wrong in our love affair with these creatures. I think we humanise them too much. It's really a kind of blind trust in a creature of another species, and we have no idea what is really going on in their minds. I think it is not worth it, considering the many lives they ruin.

Just for the record..Dogs should never be "growly dogs" that is a Huge red flag that something is wrong. I've been a Animal Control officer, A vet tech at a Shelter and Foster mom for local rescues. I have seen a few dogs like this. Some were behavioral issues and some were just crossed wires in the brain. Just like some humans are just not right. I kept a Pug that was that way, He was so sweet until he would just Snap with no warning😟 I'm so sorry this happened.. You are healing beautifully! Amazing Story❤

We all need to speak up and try to prevent this tragedy happening to others, especially children. Dogs should definitely not be in homes with children, it's child endangerment.

Please explain because this is the most asinine statement I've ever read. Do you even have children? For everyone's sake let's hope not with a statement like that. Ever know the love and loyalty of a dog?
