This bishop is talking about criminalizing that sin. In Christianity, fornication, adultery, incest, rape, homosexuality, etc are sexual sins. In law some sins(religious) are not considered crimes(law). I draw attention to the sins of some fornicators and adulterers who claim profess the Christian faith when they come in full force against homosexuals. Those sinners will actually throw parties when LGBT-whatever people are killed which is absurd.

The topic of homosexuality is just like a double edged sword. Uganda is an independent nation with laws that govern society. It’s pretty hard for us to trade our dignity for foreign Aid that comes with uncommon conditions. I’m glad President M7 did what was necessary at the time. We can afford to be slaves ever more. Turkson for Pope. Anti-liberal views may be held in private, but criminalising people for life choices, which do not harm others than those who consent in the act, do not offend modern society (including the TRULY progressive law makers), let alone God, is a backwards step in human progress. Let us understand the phenomena, and live our lives as we choose.

Cardinal Turkson was being unnecessarily diplomatic. Welldone Ghanaian Bishops, the fact that there were some homosexuals in the past or present does not make it moral. This behaviour is unnatural and against our African culture and we ought to flush it out. It even becomes more worrisome when a Bishop defends something that is contrary to the scripture and more importantly, endangering the salvation of souls.

Sir it alien to our culture please. They term you described is for those who act like the opposite sex and not those who go around having sexual intercourse with the opposite sex. The two are completely different. If I guy speaks like a lady, it does not make him part of the LGBTQ+. In the Ghanaian Akan language we call the ‘Kwadwo Besia’. Kwadwo is a name given to a guy and Besia represent a female. So basically a guy who behaves like a lady. Such people in the community are married to females with children. So sir with all due respect, the comparison you made is totally out of context.

My deepest sympathies to the *LGBTIQ+* community in Ghana & elsewhere in Africa. I hope that we can return to a time when we held the spirit of *Ubuntu* high, there is real power in love & unity. Today we see a strong & growing culture of self-enrichment & self-preservation as if the prosperity of one, takes away from another, maybe this speaks to our troubled past & hopeless situation. However, I someday hope for a truly liberated Africa, where *ALL* her citizens are free & live in dignity & with respect. But only together can we end lies/deceit, disrespect, homophobia, xenophobia, racism, sexism, ageism, gender-based violence, human trafficking...etc. - from *South Africa,* with love...

Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, 10 nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God. 11 And such were some of you. But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God. The Kingdom of God is at hand Turn to Jesus Christ who can set you free from any of these sinful lifestyles but do not be deceived because the wages of sin is death but the free gift of God is eternal life. These lifestyles will lead to hell unless you repent of them. It is either eternity in heaven (the kingdom of God) or hell (separate from God in flames and torment for eternity) ..the free gift of God is eternal life, chose life.
