My nectarine did this, blossomed in December and began setting fruit. The recent arctic blast here in Texas zapped all the leafy growth and blossoms. Now its 70 degrees again. New subscriber here.

Sir, Very right. This untimely flowering phenomenon in Dec. itself is due to the wrong selection of varieties typically not suited to your specific location climatic conditions. Here only low chill varieties suited to mild winter climates may work as you have talked of citrus plants as well there. Compatibility of rootstocks is also an issue which can't be overlooked please. Great judgement. Keep up with your endeavors. Very useful information. Love welcome and regards from India Kangra Distt. in State of HP 👌👍❤🙏🙏

This can happen with all types of trees in a mild climate. Plums are a huge offender in deciduous trees. 🤠👊
