You know this video makes me remember a saying. The foundation guys, it's out a inch or two, but the block guys will take care of it. The block guys do what they can. Oh the framers will take care of that. Framers come in, it's within a 1/4 to 1/2 inch. Finish guys will take care or that. Finish guys come in, they just shake there heads and make it look good. When you're all the above, you know it starts off right, it finishes easy and right. Good job. I like to see people take pride in there trade and each job.

To think that I saw video's from your work guys in bits and pieces. Now to see the bathroom done it's just amazing, what I really admire is not only the detail to the task on hand, it's how clean you both work, no debris left behind, it's either swept or picked up the vacuum. Great video Paul and Jordan, remain blessed and keep the video's coming!!!!!!!!! Big fan from the RGV (deep s. tx.)

Protip. Everbilt 1" corner braces add 1/4" from the back of your 3/4" face frames to mount false fronts flush with the drawers. (The rubber bumpers are 1/4" also. Use the tiny self centering bit and mount the brackets flush with the back of the frame in each corner. Screw on false front from the back aligning your false front by setting it on a piece of 1/8" stock above the cabinet door, and aligning your false front left and right. Punch the holes with self centering bit (I lean forward and my legs hold the drawer in place) and screw in. Takes 1-2 minutes. Wont go anywhere for a very long time, very easy to replace also. Best if done before countertops. Then those false fronts will never move.

@@StudPack, we bought a house in '86 where the builder used white silicon rubber as tile grout. I can't imagine how hellishly difficult it must have been to use silicon rubber as grout without getting it all over the face of the tiles, but _wow_ is the result fantastic! Easy to clean and it's still bright white after all these years. Anyway, perhaps the acetone trick would work well enough to make grouting tile possible.

Rather than more powerful magnets (which may be expensive), you could just put another set of magnets on the screws inside the wall (with correct orientation for polarity of course), Then all for corners have two magnets holding them together. That is a brilliant idea for an access panel. I know of one place I need to do something similar.

What education, licensing, or certifications went into your becoming a General Contractor? Could you do these projects as a general handyman legally? Where do you draw the line on your expertise or it becomes illegal for you to do the job. I just purchased a project home and feel confident in my skills but not sure where I should draw my line. Great work on all your projects. Keep it up and I'll keep smashing that thumbs up. I need new content though because I've already burned through all your past videos.

9:32 No good solution for the backsplash on wall above tub. This OCD soul is disturbed by the short tile pieces on wall in the corner to left of window. You have perfect symmetry on the horizontal surface, and those short pieces on the wall. The tile just does not work as a backsplash. It's too tall. If my house, I'd rip off tile and try wood "baseboard molding" or long solid pieces or fake marble. There is just too much "texture" in that big tile that is not matching. Send me meds for my OCD.

It looks amazing and the owners are lucky to have found people that care about their trade. That being said as a homeowner I can only imagine the gut punch of calling out someone because I thought something was wrong with the shower drain and it turns into a 15 or 20 thousand dollar job because the more we dug the more we realized the whole thing was fucked. At least they had guys that did it right this time.

for a 2 family contracting team, that's awesome work guys, as well as filming and editing the job. I have to stop and think this isn't a scripted film but actual contracting work being filmed. :-) Usually when people hire you and trust you, its a complement they want to keep you for other jobs. Because they tried you out and liked you. Here in the UK good honest trades are hard to come by, so if your good and honest then you won't run out of work. Really entertaining with a slight twist of humour which I love. More of these jobs guys.

Man, the work that was done on this remodel is absolutely incredible. It's the small things that the average person isnt going to think about, the attention to detail and having an eye for proportion that separate good work from outstanding work. Everything here; from scribing the tile to fit the window trim, the design of the access panel, the cabinet guy adding the bumpers behind the false drawers, taking the time to scrape paint from windows due to lazy and shoddy work. If your son is going to make a career out of doing trade work, then he is very lucky to have a dad and mentor of your caliber. Amazing job, fellas. You're truly a master of your craft.
