Macaron's cousin?? It's Italian almond cookie Amaretti
It's made with almond flour without flour, so it's very savory...
Crispy on the outside, chewy on the inside.
The taste is delicious, but the ingredients and process are so simple.
Ingredients (18-20 servings of 20g)
190g ground almonds almond flour
120g sugar sugar
1g salt salt
70g egg white egg white (room temperature)
3g vanilla bean paste (optional)
for the sugar-coating
25g sugar sugar
25g powdered sugar powdered sugar
▶Based on 18 to 20 20g ingredients
▶Be sure to strain the almond powder through a sieve.
▶The shape of the cookie can be made hemispherical or flat, but personally I liked the flat version for texture :p
▶Egg whites must be at room temperature
▶You can omit the vanilla extract/vanilla bean paste, but I recommend adding it if you are sensitive to the smell of eggs.
▶ Preheat to 150 degrees and bake for 18 to 20 minutes
(It is necessary to adjust the temperature and time for each oven)
