Hi your videos are very informative - thank you! I'm planning a trip to Rome but now wondering whether it's better to avoid visiting in Mar 2024? Are the construction works very disruptive for tourists in terms of visual/noise etc? It would be my first trip to Rome and wouldn't want this to ruin the experience. Thanks in advance!

Hi! The construction work is going to be there for awhile, so I wouldn't try to time around it. I don't think it's too disruptive, but of course it's not the same when it comes to views, unfortunately. Especially, around Piazza Venezia.

Like in every old historical places, whenever you set a construction site, every pickaxe blow you take you can find something historically interesting and that can delay the date of completion of the work. 😅

Comfortable ones!!

It depends on a lot of different things - what's the occasion (exploring the city, going to a restaurant, etc), time of the year (summer vs winter), etc. But overall - definitely a pair of comfortable walking shoes (not the tennis shoes we normally wear at the gym, but a walking ones), boots (for fall/winter) or loafers (for warmer weather), etc. I go into great details in a lot of my videos like this one kzitem.info/news/bejne/wGeQyaaXhGuZi2k
