Denise, thank you so much generous review. You did a great job explaining my babies! The only thing I'll mention is that the Wig SECURE band is the only Medically Approved wig band on the market and is the First and Only Reversible band so you can wear it with the silicone against your head or against the wig to help it stay put for people with and without hair:-) You absolutely Rocked it with my new baby Scalp Cushion and brought a total smile to my heart as you are sooo good at communicating the need as well as the intimate construction and you have the perfect beautifully structured face to be doing this. I was really impressed. Thank you for helping me get the word out. And... I love your little pupster who I could not believe stayed silent the entire time!!

Hey Denise, I'm 65 but actually new to this wig thing. I have found that even some "lace" fronts itch and rub my forhead. Not sure what I can do about this. Not all Lace fronts bother me but a few do. They seem to me to be stiffer than others. I can't stand to wear those really so they just sit in the box. What might I do so that I can wear them? One is the Gabor, Best in class. Help? Anyone?

Have you heard of any one itching over the circumference of the wig? i have decreased the itching on scalp by using a wig cap but still itch behind my ears and aver the hairline if the wig??? I have been applying Triamcinolone” cream behind my ear lobe ..it helps but just for a couple of hours. 😞

I believe the review was excellent. However, since I have a lot of hair, this product may not be suitable for me. Nevertheless, I am a member of a women's wig group, and many members are dealing with hair loss in some way. I will share this review with them.

Jon R wig (and seen on Belle Tress too) what’s with the blonde upfront root hairline. It’s obvious it’s a wig due to the root being different (light) color right at the few hairs in the middle of hairline. So weird.

A lace front causing my forehead to itch

Yes, some are itchy. I have done TWO things to help with that. #1 is to trim it with a pinking shears, the scalloped edge seems to help and #2 is to adhere it with It Stays or another adhesive. That stops it from moving around on your head and causing itching (they can do little micro-movements that you can't even see when left loose). Video on trimming the lace (I use the pinking shears on synthetic wigs which usually have a thicker and itchier lace than human hair): kzitem.info/news/bejne/wGNvy4hjmKGiioIsi=6RIesZ6HUnHH-gWc Video on It Stays: kzitem.info/news/bejne/pZmNt5WipGKXg34si=_9LiB_gQ9LMIUhS_

I would love this in a wig band type of fashion- I find some wigs incredibly itchy around the ear going down to my neck- this looks incredibly comfortable but don’t know if it would help the areas I mentioned Thank you, Denise.

I agree! It is amazing if your itching is on top of the head (since I shared this on Instagram and Facebook I heard from MANY woman who said this works great for that)... but itching can happen in other places. I bought a wig grip cap from Milano and will be testing it and doing a review, although the reason I bought it was because many women told me they love it for this reason. This is the cap: amzn.to/3ZHTeT8

I ordered me a cushion because of your review. Great job as usual. However, a lot of times I just wear a tissue under my wig. It's soft it breathes and it absorbs the sweat off my scalp

I see the wig grip comes in a lighter beige color. I have light grey hair, so that's good. However, I wear a lot of lace front, mono part/top wigs. I won't try this grip until it's available with a lace front and lace part sections. Hope that's possible in the future. Thanks for your review, Denise.

I live in Florida and can only wear my wigs after October. The headband grips give me headaches so I wear the wig grip caps because they aren't as tight and wigs itch me. I will definitely try this as it seems like it might solve both the problem of itch and heat. Thanks!

I'm perplexed as to why it's so extremely small. I have pain from trauma and hoped it would be substantially larger to cover my really sensitive areas. That only covers the very topmost portion of the head. Perhaps that was the place the creator had her issues, but I think something larger would benefit many more people. Definitely not for me-- in this incarnation at least. :(

Thank you for sharing!!! I have been having SO MUCH irritation from my wig lately. My skin around my hairline has formed little red bumps. I am trying a wig cap but I’m not sure how to protect my forehead from my lace front. So far I think gluing my lace front to keep it from moving and scratching my skin helps a bit.
@bels4116
11 ай бұрын
@veronicakes That's interesting because I've been wearing wigs for nearly 30 years because of alopecia and the only problem I have is the red bumps you mentioned, I have no idea how to prevent it, have you had any success?
@veronicakes
10 ай бұрын
@@bels4116 yes it's gotten much better by adhering the lace front to my forehead. When the lace front moves, it scratches my skin and creates the irritation. I think also being sure to wash my skin/hair regularly to remove the adhesive from my skin is helping. I also have to give myself breaks in between every few days to let my scalp recover. I seem to have a pretty sensitive scalp
