Interesting. Traveling in vehicle or small veh use. This is the second best system. How old is company, reviews and warranty. Often companies advertise but don’t follow through. I do ARES and bought a 750 system, two years … and 6 month failure and …. Silence and nothing from them. All my ham friends will be notified.

Dave I’m sure it’s a great filtration system but two major issues that concern me is the cost of the battery and the replacement filter cost and using it in a truck camper and, winterizing when not heating my unit. I’ve never had any battery proprietary gadget of any kind that when needed a replacement battery that it was always costly. I’ve got a set of expensive walkie talkies that only lasted two years and, Motorola wants more than I can buy a new set for cost of the batteries. I’m curious also for the cost ? Thanks David 13:58 Ted in Arkansas

Those are valid concerns. I’m not trying to convince anyone; however, if this took triple A batteries for example, you would probably spend more in replacement batteries over the product lifetime than the product itself. Lifep04 battery it uses are traditionally known for lasting a long time. All of this I’m sure can be debated. I’m not aware of a better option if you planned to filter large quantities of water remotely.
