Archelon fed on fish, cephalopods, nautiloids, sponges, and jellyfish. No vegan water beasts just yet XD I'm hoping that a lagoon brush or much larger decoration pieces are part of the free update, because much as I adore the existing decor they're just too small to efficiently cover the lagoon floor, especially a large lagoon. Just mash together the existing ones in a bunch of ways to create big ones. Of course some brand-new ones would be awesome, especially rock arches of various sizes, rock columns of various sizes, and several versions of kelp patches.

A. For Attractions. 1. River Ride: Through and around an enclosure. Could work like the Tour/Jeep/Gyrosphere Ride. (Maybe add one more skin like the Bone Shaker Coaster JPTG. Just as a alternative skin for the Park Tour.) Select what kind of River Ride from different eras. Quote: "We have the Jungle River Ride where the boats follow tracks underwater" John Arnold. JP Novel by Michael Crichton. Jungle River Raft JP Novel/Motor Boat JPIII/Kayak JW/Coaster Ride for Biosyn like the River Adventure Ride in JP Theme Parks. 2. Lagoon Attractions: Submarine Ride (like the tour ride)/Lagoon Sub Dome (placed on the water floor)/Lagoon Sub Tower (in the lagoon higher than the Dome between water surface and lagoon water bed) or something like a Tunnel going through the Lagoon something similar to the Log Viewing Gallerie just a little taller with two entrances and exits. B. Feeding Animations. 1. Dead Fish Basket Feeder for Lagoon Plesiosaur Dinosaurs (like the meat feeder we have for carnivores). 2. For Lagoons Belemnite/Orthoceras (squid) Feeder Pleuroceras/Pravitoceras Ammonite Feeder Horseshoe Crab/Redlichia Rex Trilobite Feeder, Live Shark Feeder for our Large Aquatic friends. C. Decorations. 1. Waterfalls/Lagoon Decorating/Tall Long Rectangle Rocks for Aviaries(flying reptiles to land on Like we saw in JP3) and for Lagoons. Decorations for the eternal Lagoon wall's like seaweed/rocks. 2. More Skeleton statues, Kronosaurus etc. D. Mechanics and Animations. More Aquatic Animations for our Lagoon Dinosaurs. (Splashing there tail on the water surface, Jumping on the surface of the water especially for the Ichthyosaurs like dolphins, Plesiosauroidea Reptiles standing still on the surface of the water with there neck and head stretching above sea level). E. New Dinosaurs. 1. A couple of Small Aquatic Dinosaurs like Xiphactinus, Dolichorhynchops, Pistosaurus. A couple of Medium size like Dunkleosteus, Temnodontosaurus. A couple of Large size like Shastasaurus and the Big King himself, Basilosaurus. 2. Dimetrodon Amphibian family spices like. Shringasaurus, Nothosaurus, Tanystropheus, Edaphosaurus, Siamosaurus. Just a little more variety to are list of four legged Amphibian crawling carnivore's.

the way they talk about Shonisaurus on the website makes it seem that it probably won't have many interesting hunting and combat animations with the whole peaceful whale act, which is annoying because Shonisaurus was a Megalodon tier macro-predator based on more recent studies, but at least the design is nice. Dunkleosteus doesn't look like the real animal at all lol, but considering it's so far removed from all other species in the game temporally I'm excited for what they might add in the future
@tri-clawgaming7682

Actually i would be happy with a more graceful whale like relaxed animal than a hyper aggressive monster tbh As for the Dunk - The recent study that made it a piranha is only that, a study. Personally i think this design makes more sense from a Hydrodynamics perspective.

@@tri-clawgaming7682 the new study corrects old measurements that were objectively incorrect. The initial artwork that was shown with it was just somewhat poorly made in terms of showing its bodyplan, but it is supposed to have a bodyplan that much more closely resembles a tuna. Tunas are very large high speed open ocean predators that are quite a bit faster and hydrodynamic compared to sharks, and due to their similar measurements and proportions to the Dunkleosteus, that bodyplan would make a lot more sense for it. I understand why people prefer muh shark with plate armor design, but I don't understand the vehement dismissal of a scientific study because of it lol

@@hypotrain I just think the new version looks way to much like a piranha. I havent seen the Tuna version. @@tri-clawgaming7682 That claim was actually tackled in the paper. A few other pelagic animals share this body plan, and (at least, according to the paper) it actually reduces drag. That being said, the paper suggested that they may have less direct analogues for sharks but instead more like a combination of grouper, anglerfish and shark (that's what I remember it saying, I can't find it in the paper itself). That plus it being closer to how other arthrodire placoderm's bottom chest plate goes over the whole stomach area and various other reasons such as the positioning of the poop shute make this a more accurate estimate of it's size.

Megalodon is more unique and interesting then 90% of the rest of the creatures in the game, aquatic or not. Such a shame, would’ve been awesome having a rival to the Mosasaurus. @@cap7387 I would be lying if I said that I wasn't disappointed in the lack of a megalodon but I personally feel like the creatures we are getting are unique enough to make the dlc worth it, yes the shonisaurus is a big ichthyosaurus but that's the selling point for me since it looks pretty pig and the two largest marine reptiles in the game look very similar so it's refreshing to see something new, the nothasaurus just like the archelon is kinda its own thing, its very weird and can come on the rock things like the archelon which relieves me cause I don't think I would like the nothasaurus half as much if it just swam around and couldn't access land But like you said it is your opinion and I am sad that you aren't thrilled with the new creatures as much as I am, I at least hope you like the free update since it's bound to have massive changes to the lagoons
@cap7387
Жыл бұрын
@@TiredMammal I might still end up buying the pack. I am pretty tired of the current selection of marine animals and I do like the Dunnkleosteus. The free update with paint brushes and depth I’m really hoping for I do think current lagoon exhibits are tad shallow. I also feel like they might throw Megalodon in a pack with post Mesozoic reptiles. Maybe a Titanaboa, Megalodon and Megalania maybe not though cause they all lived millions of years apart from each other. I wouldn’t rule out Megalodon just yet. Same with those whales I’m really hoping Frontier haven’t just black listed all on mammals. Land ones would feel out of place but I think marine whales would fit well into the game. Leedsichthys has to be out of the question for sure now which is unfortunate.
