I would think that "why tell the truth?" is more likely to be what a British politician would say.

This slide was used again the following week by Granada Television when they were responsible for networking "The Terms Ahead" previews, along with any postponed schools programming.

Would love to know what the music is at the start of the video! Most ITV schools used pieces were very catchy!

Mark C The track at the start is called Like Clockwork and the one at the end is called (appropriately) Around the Clock.

Brilliant,thanks! The less scariest junctions of them all - think I've mentioned when it went to Channel 4 that 4 logo in the bottom right hand corner of the screen on schools broadcasts terrified the living you know what out of me! ITV Schools on 4 ended when I was 9 and a half,I think.

The first pic the women looks like a half eaten zombie! At the time I thought she looked weird..
