I love Japanese and Italian aircrafts, they are very interesting and good looking ones. I also like popular types, like Messerschmitt Bf-109, Spitfire, P-38 Lightning, but much more information is avaliable about them. J2M Raiden is one of my favorite among Japanese fighters (interceptors), but very few information is available about it. What I never knew, why did they used two different 20mm cannons on the aircraft? A pair of Type 99-I short barreled outer and a pair of Type 99-II long barreled inner guns? As far as I know they fired even different case length 20mm ammunition, the caliber was different, the long barreled fired longer cased, bigger shelled 20mm round.
