His first mixtape, Hope World, too! And, don't miss his full Lollapalooza performance, which is available on the BANGTANTV channel (the official BTS channel). Also, Indigo might appreciate RM's latest album (another member of BTS and a part of their rapline), since the album title is "Indigo." 🙂

Hobi’s verse in #on_the_street is deeper than many people think. First, you have to know that the child in the mv is hobi. the kid is wearing Air Jordan 11s. Theyre the same pair Hobi owns now. Air Jordans are also known as J’s so “J in the Air” is a play on the shoes. Air Jordan’s (J’s) are significant bc j.cole mentions the shoes in his song “higher.” Meeting j.cole at lolla, hobi mentioned to him that he loves his mixtape Friday Night Lights, especially Higher & Hobi found a genius way to add it into the lyrics and MV. The child is wearing almost the same outfit as j.cole wears in the MV. This represents how much hobi idolized j.cole and found inspiration in him when he was young. At the start, you see j-hope help kid-hobi put his earphones on, pat his head, shake his hand, and wave to him as they both set off walking down their paths. It’s almost feels like he was comforting and assuring his younger self. Hobi’s verse starts “My two feet walk willingly, anywhere. J in the air” Hobi sets off on a life path that leads him to his destination “j in the air”, represented at the end by him and jcole on the roof. This is where “J in the air” takes on another meaning. He’s playing with the fact that they’re both J’s and they’re “in the air” now. He gave us a hint at his lolla performance “you can call me J” (also, “j in the air” is also a reference to his song Airplane which is about j-hope finding his success after so many hard trials.) “For the path I’m on to become one of hope, I give my all. Even my walk was made of Your love and your faith.” He’s talking about how he worked so hard and made many sacrifices to make sure that the path he willingly chose to follow, became successful. he tells us that it’s bc of our love and faith that all his hard work came to fruition and is what made this path possible. “To repay you even from afar, just like a butterfly” He references BTS’s song Butterfly in this line. His verse:“like a wind that gently strokes me, like a dust that gently drifts along, Youre there but for some reason, I cant reach you” bc hes leaving for a while, he wishes to give this song as his message for us to always have & to comfort us while hes unable to be with us. “Now, just walk lightly, whenever you want Go on hopefully, wherever you walk In these streets imbued with someones breath I leave my soul and my eternity Everywhere (I’ll be)” No matter what path we chose, he wants to always be with us to be our piece of peace. “Every time I walk, Every time I run Every time I move, As always, for us Every time I look, Every time I love Every time I hope, As always, for us” He goes through the mv walking on his path. It shows him as a kid that was inspired by j.cole to him working hard throughout his youth practicing his love of street dance, to eventually climbing up from the bottom to finally reach his destination at the top where he meets and shakes the hand of the man who inspired him from the start.

Hi guys thankyou for your reaction to our boy JHope aka HOBI. JHope is 1 of 3 rappers in BTS the Korean group. As a kid HOBI loved dancing and HipHop and would dance to JCole's music. He really loves JCole and says he has been his muse and icon, as a trainee JH had to learn how to rap and practiced with his 2 other BTS band members RM (Rapmon) & SUGA until he found his own style. JH had a surprise meetng with JCole, who he has huge love & respect for. Right now JH is living his dream by collabng with his icon, inspiration, who was his comfort & strength when times got bad. The boys in BTS have collabd with other artists - Halsey, Megan Thee Stallion, Nicki Minaj, ColdPlay, Steve Aoki, Maxx, Lauv, Ed Sheeran, .... - RM with Erykah Badu, Wale, Krizz Kaliko, Warren G, Lil Nas X, Paul Blanco, Anderson Paak ... - SUGA with Juice World, Epik High & other Korean artists. BTS is on a break until 2025 coz all the boys have to enlist (for 18 mnths) and complete their mandatory military service and will reunite as a group in 2025. The oldest one Jin has enlisted already, JHope will follow soon and the others will join after they finish their solo work, so we look forward to all the surprises they have for us. BTS has 3 rappers & 4 vocalists and they sing in Korean & English. The others speak a little English, but RM is fluent and learned English watching "Friends" the US tv program. They have been together for 10yrs and have been through a lot, but their music is actually really good coz of the positive, uplifting messages they put out for their fans called ARMY (literally an army in numbers coz it's global) ... BTS = "Bang-Tan-Sohn-Yeohn Dan" or Bulletproof Boyscouts. I hope this helps!! Thankyou for your reaction, much love from New Zealand 🇳🇿 💜

if you like Jcole, you check out BTS’s cover of Born Sinner best video has got to be a stage mix video (a edit of two performances together). They originally did the cover in 2013, but in 2015 they performed it and then they performed it again in 2017… in both performances they changed the lyrics to follow more of who they were in the moment. [just turn on CC/subtitles] *link in replies*

link: kzitem.info/news/bejne/u2uNsoaNhoureIo some info BTS is a 7-member boy group under Big Hit Music, they debuted on June 13th, 2013. They have 3 rappers and 4 vocalist (they all dance, fun fact: Jhope was an underground dancer and the two other rappers [RM and Suga] were underground rappers before BTS). while you might want to compare the rappers of the group, many fans (called ARMY) have been saying one thing to distinguish their styles by something other than their voice RM: lyricism & poetry Suga: Delivery & feeling JHope: Rhythm & flow RM analyzes the world Suga critiques it and Jhope visualizes it each member stands alone as great artist in their own right, they have their individual sounds. But when together they make art.

So J Hope is one of three rappers that are the rap line of BTS. He also collabed with Becky G for a remake of Chicken Noodle Soup. His new album is great, try out More and Arson, or react to his headlining show at Lollopalooza this year. RM, another rapper in the group did a song with Wale called Change, has a new album called Indigo, react to Flowerworks. Suga also did some work with Juice Wrld and others. If you want to see them together try Outro:Tear. It’s at Wembly Stadium, is sold out, and is emotional. It was written when the group was thinking about splitting up. It’s powerful. Three songs that are connected and feature each of them are.. Intro:Persona Interlude:Shadow Outro:Ego. Hope (J Hope) you give them a chance. I’ll warn you; the more BTS you do, the more the ARMY (BTS fans) will flock to your channel.

I LOVE THIS SONG 🔥 J-hope let J. Cole own this song and I respect that. He's his muse. I think this is such a great collab. J.Cole verse is fire, J-hope's verse is short but both killed it! 🔥 Cole ATE that. His verse is fcking amazing! J-hope composed the song and the melody, both wrote the lyrics and his producer 'Pdogg' did a great job too because it feels more like a J cole song with a little bit of J-hope essence and It's great. J-hope is a member of the group BTS. He used to be a street dancer and grew up listening to a lot of hip-hop from the 90's. If you like hip-hop you will definitely like a lof of J-hope's songs and also a lot of BTS' songs but I have to mention that their discography is huge and so diverse (They have 3 rappers and 4 singers). You should check them out! Btw, they sampled Born Sinner and it's called 'Born Singer', I think they released it in 2014 but last year they added that song to their latest album 'Proof' because it's really special for them. J-hope also mentioned J.Cole as one of his biggest inspirations along with other rappers in the BTS song "hip-hop lover/phile". I think you can maybe react to those two with the lyrics of course!

..i sense J Hope's passion in doing this video...J Cole seems to be a legend in hip hop nowadays..both of them form a wonderful collaboration...this video is celestial, artistically speaking. J hope's dancing is also extraordinary..it reminds me of the film Dancing in the Rain with Gene Kelly. The meeting between the 2 worlds is amazingly enriching.

jhope rapping and switching in two languages is kinda wild and he added the whistle melody in the track. jhope dancing during Cole's verse is because j-hope before BTS used to dance to J.Cole songs back in the day. The is like a visual homage paid to J.Cole by j-hope to show his genuine love for THE GOAT like J.Cole. J-hope been telling us since 2013 about JCole.. so he composed the music and let’s his idol spits 32 bars, that’s how much respect he got for him. Everything about it shows passion and craft. It's beautiful watching two worlds collide, and the one thing connecting them is hip-hop.
