Pulwana (Jammu and Kashmir), Nov 23 (ANI): Two young Kashmiri girls from Tral Village of South Kashmir started mushroom cultivation under National Rural Livelihood Mission (NRLM) scheme. The girls started mushroom cultivation to earn their livelihood as both were educated but unemployed. The Department of Agriculture provided financial and technical help to the girls. While talking to ANI, Raukaya Jan said, “Department of Agriculture provided us with a mushroom unit with subsidy and also gave us training. They provide us with all facilities so that our units are successful”. She added, “Now under the National Rural Livelihood Mission scheme we have our own mushroom unit.” (AS)
