Korean always protest what Japan's awarding or honor with fabricated historical story. Until 1973 there was no Korean in Gunkan-jima. And also, there was elementary school and middle school in the island. This is great evidence what Gunkan-jima island was peaceful island. When coal miner want to work in Gunkan-jima, he must have family or must marry. Because in narrow island, human relation is the most important problem.

Battleship island---it is the nick name. A real name is Hashima. It has been called as battleship island from the shape of battle ship. But the society was so peaceful. There lived many families and also many children.children had have to go to the school in the island. In the most rich era of the island, children could study in highschool of the island. And there were some public bath houses in the island. After finish of day work, coal miners relaxed in the public bath house. The peaceful era of island had continued until 1970.

(No forced Korean labors in Hashima) during the annexation of Korea by Japan, too many Koreans came to Japan willingly for better living.then the Japanese goverment started voyage regulation, but still there were so many Korean smugglers into Japan.and they made an excuse of "forced labor".Han Jyong-yu, one of the smugglers and who later became one of the richest men in Japan says, in this way they were not reported to police and they even got sympathy from Japanese. in 1939,National Requisition Ordinance was issued in Japan.but in Korea, they got preference to delay it to 1944,Sep. you may call the labors under the law "forced labor".but it was not so strict to Koreans, some didnt show up to Pusan port on the day for departure, instead of that, somebody else who wanted to go to Japan came.they were paid as the same amount of money as native Japanese.moreover they had free time to date Japanese female co-worker(even marriage).far from slavery! this time Japan apply the registration of these Heritage for the progress in Meiji era(long time before 1944).there is noting to do with Foced Labor.so S.Korea is making false accusation again!

ajdcjddlsus when it comes to Hashima,70% of the labors were Japanese working under the same condition as Koreans.mostly both of them put up with such a heavy work for the high weges(4 times higher than Japanese officers). in 1916, the first reinforced concrete apartment in Japan was built there.next year the first recruitment in Korea was done and 150 were hired. in 1939,Korean households of 500 people immigrated to Hashima(i wonder why they brought wives and kids to Hell Island if it was true). accordinng to the human rights organization to support Koreans in Nagasaki, they found the cremation permit.and it revealed all thorough the history of Hashima,122 Koreans died.this number includes the death of disease, and not only labors but also the family. Korean labors who got killed in the accidens at work were only 17 people when total number is 215.this means 198 victims were Japanese. this is because the most dangerous part of work was given to skilled and experienced Japanese coal miners to prevent accident. after 1944,Sep, Korean labors(the then Japanese) were mobilized to Japan by the law called National Requition Ordinance.but America and the other countries did the same thing as well.so if you say Japan did "Forced Labor",you should accuse them too.besides it was not sure if there were "Requisioned Korean Labor" in Hashima.no evidence and Ex-Residents testified they came from Korea at their will.anyway the thing is that ethnic Japanese rightfully accepted it as the duty.but Ex-Korean Japanese called it "Foced Labor".since they decided to be victims of Japan hiding the fact over 300000 young men volunteered for Japanese army when Japan was leading the war.

@@유전적-s6l Contrary to South Korea's claims, which are only based on emotional testimonies with no basis, physical evidence such as documents and articles from the time proves that the Koreans worked under the same conditions as the Japanese. Even on Hashima (Battleship Island), there are articles about Korean workers who earned a lot of money there and donated to their hometown in Korea, this fact denies a lie that the Korean workers were treated like slaves. hontonorekishi.blog.fc2.com/blog-entry-36.html The site below mainly explains the process of how Koreans have fabricated the history of Hashima in books and movies and the political context of how the South Korean government has used it to accuse the Japanese government. Former Hashima Islanders are very angry at the South Korean falsification and are calling for a debate with the self-claimed Korean forced laborers, but why are they running away? hontonorekishi.blog.fc2.com/blog-entry-37.html By the way, when Koreans were Japanese citizens, so many Koreans rushed into Japan in search of work that the Japanese government issued a travel restriction toward Koreans without guarantors. Then they smuggled themselves into Japan. Many of the Koreans in Japan are stowaways and their children, not forced laborers. Look at the documents of the time for proof. hontonorekishi.blog.fc2.com/blog-entry-18.html Even a Korean scholar has concluded that there was no disparity in wages between Koreans and Japanese after examining wage registers and other documents of the time. hontonorekishi.blog.fc2.com/blog-entry-35.html

Foreigners may have seen the movie Gunkanjima and criticized it, but that's a complete lie. shame on you. It's a complete lie that Japanese people worked there as well as Korean people. There are many Koreans who married Japanese men, even though they were paid four times as much as Japanese officers. Those people have not returned home and continue to live in Japan. This is a fact that no one other than Japanese knows.

Hashima Island is a terrible island. It is a place where they forced Asians to work without giving them money or food.Japan now distorts its past and promotes it as an industrial island.Japan is now successful in distorting textbooks, so people don't know history. The German prime minister also pointed out Abe. Japan does not reflect on its past history and misses it.
