2018年の#115コンサートはとても良かったので、あなたは正しいかもしれません。 #114もかなり強いです。 You might be right, as the #115 concerts in 2018 were very good. The #114 is quite strong, too..
I wonder if the Japanese people realize what a treasure this band is? Watching them perform is a joy. They inspire people and are Japan's best ambassadors.
how wonderful to see Milpy in the crowd. She as much as Chippy represented the best of kt.Her wonderful smile lit up the parade.we see her again now in Kyoto Fire Angels, but i wish she would join Or-vils
Performing in malls does not allow to demonstrate their incredible talent to the fullest. In field performance they are unbeatable and a joy to watch and it's always sad when they leave the field waving goodbye to everyone.

On the contrary, it demonstrates the versatility of this band. Be it the field, stage, marching arena, parades - both wide as in the Rose Parade with its wide boulevards, to the local narrow streets, to the even narrower shopping arcades like this, and then to a sit-down concert performance, just demonstrates their ability to adapt. All the while with a joie de vivre that puts a smile on the face in admiration and appreciation of their amazing talent. Kudos to the parents, guardians, sensei, senpai, kohai. May these kids have long and fruitful lives bringing that joy to future generations.

I've watched this band on you tube in the Pasadena Rose Parade and tribute concert + many more. I've also watched other Japanese marching bands which are also good but Tachibana has taken it to a new level. Their performance is immaculate and the sound great. It takes a great dedication for them to reach this level coupled with all the moves they have to remember and do make it a spectacular performance. These girls deserve every bit of praise and credit they get as they have become Japans Ambassadors and im sure the Japanese are proud they display the best. I wish them all the best in their futures and careers

KTSHS Band is ALWAYS AWESOME. Any year, any time. I am addicted and require these videos.
Another stellar performance under extreme pressure from close crowds, people trying to walk past to do their shopping and most of all the paparazzi surrounding them to get the best shot. But these kids just take it in there stride with a smile and joy for they are doing what they love. I have read many other comments on this video ( the ones I can read, sorry Japanese folks, but I am sure you are also reiterating what us English speakers are commenting on), and they all praise a beautiful professional display in choreography and sound. Thank you to the people who do video these performances , for us to watch on the other side of the world 👏 Maybe one day I may manage to seem them live🙏🤞 The future is bright the future is Orange 🍊

Really changed the doctrine in the marching band ..... really fantastic, unique and funny. You really have made your 2 parents proud and carried the fragrant name of the school and your teachers keep dancing and sing sing sing sing. I'm really not bored listening to your songs and dances .. BRAVO Kyoto Tachibana Senior High School ....... SALUTE !!!!!

How can these young talents get to that level? To conciliate the choreography with the perfect execution of the instruments is incredible. Only with a lot of perseverance, dedication and love to music. Congratulations to Kyoto Tachibana. For me, the best high school band.

The band change every year, when the 3rd years graduate in March and the new students come in April. The 2nd and 3rd years they train , the new members to marching, in the "Tachibana way" This is from a fan page an interview of the Drum Major from 2018: The seventeen-year-old Drum Major answered my question matter-of-factually, “The daily morning practice is from 7 am to 8:30 am. The after-school practice is from 4 pm to 7 pm. The Saturday practice is from 1 pm to 7 pm. We practice from 9 am to 7 pm on Sundays. And we have three-day summer vacation!” It’s obvious to everyone that they just have to put in the single-minded effort to practice, in order to acquire that surprising performance in only three years in high school. And unbelievably, it is an act that asks nothing in return. No pay. No personal glory that shines on them. No support from the state and the public administration. Their selfless efforts are devoted to the highest-dimensional humanity that far surpasses the races, languages, thoughts, and borders. That’s why even emotionally mature adults are deeply moved to see their dedicated figures. The 1,000-day effort of sweat and tears that expects nothing in return.

@@dragonsong1023 Grateful for your explanations. A single point to add in your speech. They (high school students), carry in exchange for the rest of their lives the "good memories" experienced in this student environment. The best phase of our lives. I speak for myself. Ah, again, thank you. I was impressed with the dedication and resilience of these musician students. How many and how many hours learning and improving. It is no accident that KT as a whole (for me), is the best high school band.

I think they only attend school and participate in marching band for all three years. No time for other hobbies or other activities. For example baseball players only play baseball. This is evidently true in Japanese high schools.

I believe their attention to detail and intense focus and concentration is a part of Japanese culture.
Just when you think you've seen it all with this band, along come a performance like This! Outstanding! They are without a doubt, the finest musical group I've ever seen, and I've seen hundreds and hundreds of them here in the United States! They take music and dance to a level higher than anyone else, anywhere else in the world! Like bands everywhere, they graduate students every year, but it never affects their performance...They simply "Reload!"

Marvelous and fantastic young girls of today's generation. Hoping that this may explore not only in Japan but anywhere, where band music arises.... I salute mostly to their instructors who trained them and still improving the techniques of movement....
Great job all around!! I am a huge fan of KT, but the background scenery is what really caught my interest. Kudos on the camera work. Thank you, & Merry Christmas from Colorado!!!

This marvelous artistic phenomenon, which is the Tachibana team, is a treasure of culture and a great showcase for the young generation of Japan. This mastery of giving joy is certainly paid for with hard work during rehearsals and continuous training, which I am aware of and greatly admire the dedication and talent of all in the orchestra. I wish you lots of successes and greetings from Poland.

I just thought of something and maybe they ( Kyoto Tachibana ) already have thought it out. These performances / parades / concerts , are a good way to recruit new students who may be interested in joining the school and be part of this band.
So many people in the crowd filming them are graduates :)

The indoor malls must be difficult to maneuver and to some degree restricts the bands movements. I much prefer their outdoor performances. Nevertheless, their performances are always flawless and I enjoy them tremendously!

Hopefully this translates correctly to the Japanese folk reading my comment...
