Our kitty of 16 years passed away on 1 Sep 2011, a very hard time for us. Upon hearing this piece, I like to think of its title as "Kätzchen können sicher spielen" ("Kittys can safely play"). May ours rest in peace, and forever play.

A beautiful rendition of a beautiful song! This is a very good tempo too, in my humble opinion. Many other recordings sound either like they are in a race to get to the end of the song, or falling asleep.

@maxmartha .. What a lovely reply.... Wales is beautiful but so is 'The Garden of England' too.. I have family in or near Ashford, we went over there last year, stunning countryside and a wonderful warm welcome too.. I am an import to Wales, my hubby is Welsh, I was born in Bedfordshire... BUT now classify myself as 'Wenglish' because I have lived in Wales longer than England AND all my children were born here... Many congratulations once more, health and happiness to you both... :0)x

No, I appreciate your kind words no matter how long ago I posted my comment. Jesus will (for those who trusted Him as Lord and Savior) remember the things we did for Him in our childhood! Just as David said in Psalms 23:6, "Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever." God bless and be with you! : )

Well, the model of our world offered by empirical research seems to suggest that all things are ultimately reducible to material. Melodies we commit to memory, for instance, are contained within our mind, which is, via research in neuroscience, entirely accounted for by the structures and lobes of the brain. And, since the brain is comprised of neurons and, ultimately, physical particles, it appears as if the melodies we remember are nothing more than physical objects, as strange as it seems.

@maxmartha This is certainly a lovely piece to walk down the aisle to, in fact I may consider this piece as well if I ever meet the right man. I actually heard this on Music Choice and I bolted up to take a look at the name so I could look for it elsewhere. I have Music choice on mute right now so I can just hear this to my hearts content. I hope your marriage life is as beautiful as this music piece is. : )

@Anglosaxoesdatreta I would love to hear this in Heaven. And funny, it's been almost a year since I posted that and only an hour ago maybe, I was just thinking about this music (class reading material, someone in the material mentioned a Beethoven piece and it brought back this even though it was a different piece. I wanted to play this again, but had no idea anymore if I'd even be able to! Love the classical music, flute music by a local musician, anything that's soothing. (sigh)

I listen to the music and then check the comments. If I see a comment misrepresenting and insulting my belief system, I'll ask the poster to qualify it. I wasn't the one who started with the disparaging comments. I don't come to youtube looking for arguments but if somebody thinks they can misrepresent my beliefs then I'll make it my business to call them out on it.

Universal affirmative is impossible too. But then, what word would you call someone who believes 100% theres no god at all? Nobody can prove if there is or not god(s), but some people believe there is, some believe there is not, some dont belive anything, no formed opinion... theres a word for each of 3, which are those for you?

Ok, do you have some high, intellectual scientific explanation for whether or not we will take relationships with us? How about remembeing the kindness we've extended or received from those who also know Jesus in our lifetime? I happen to remember in Psalm 23:6 "Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life..." So do you believe King David will never remember the songs he sang in his lifetime either?
@pantalaemon

Son, I hate to argue on a Bach video, but all of that is complete anti-scientific nonsense. I don't mean to take away your right to believe whatever you wanna believe, but this is just false advertising.

You've never known Jesus, my friend. There is no way you could have. He died 2000 years ago. The new testament was written centuries after he was dead, and then heavily edited by the council of nicea. We don't even know if he existed on a historical basis, let alone a spiritual one. You have a relationship with a character you made up in your head to ease and comfort you in a world you perceive as too scary to operate in on your own. If you must live a life of delusion, by all means, continue on

I don't know who told you that atheism requires faith, because it simply isn't true. Atheism and agnosticism are answers to two different questions. Atheism is the lack of belief in a god, and agnosticism is the lack of knowledge to prove a god exists. The difference is subtle to be sure, but it is possible (as in my case) to be both agnostic and an atheist. I can't prove there are no gods, but I don't have any reason to believe in one.

How does euphonic preference have anything to do with whether or not there is a God? I'm not arguing one way or another on the God issue, I just don't even see how what you said has anything to do with it...
@ericoschmitt
12 жыл бұрын
Be agnostic then. Atheism is something that requires faith, you have to believe there is no god. In agnosticism you just assume you have no means to prove eighter if some kind of god(s) exists or not... i think it makes things simpler, just not caring about it, and i may find out when i die (or not).

Atheism: the lack of belief in a deity. Period. Has nothing to do with absolute certainty, just lack of belief. I'll acknowledge that proving a universal negative is impossible, but I don't have to be 100% certain that invisible pink unicorns don't exist to know that it's a ludicrous idea that doesn't deserve my belief. Just the same, I don't need to be certain that a god exists to know that the idea isn't worth an ounce of my time.

Don't be sorry. My life has become so much more liberated and enjoyable since I shed religion from it. I'm not exactly sure what "in your mind and not your heart" actually means, since "from the heart" is an expression which means on an emotional (rather than logical) level, both of which stem from the brain. I do not believe in god or religion with either logic or emotion and I don't see how you could possibly know what I actually believe, aside from my explicit admittance that I don't believe.
@ericoschmitt

you dont have reasons to believe there is one, but also dont have reasons to believe there is not. Thats agnostcism then. Atheism is believing theres no god for sure... just look for the meaning of the word
