Thanks for uploading! For me as an Organist, Ton is the best Bach-Player of the World! Why? 1. Mr. Koopman is a Master of Harpsichord as it was Bach himself as we know. And you can hear that in the Playing and in the Interpretations on the Organ. 2. Today, nobody is interested or really involved in the art to playing the Harpsichord but in the Piano! 3. Koopman`s Interpretations are allways clear, very free and with a lot of improvisations, trillers and "ajoutés" - allways with the knowloedge of the french, no, of the european influence of music in the time of j.s.b.! I love him. Mr. Bach and Mr. Koopman! I would be proud to have been a student of Ton. His Name is program....

I like it very much. I have heard that these musical instruments are regarded as the ancestors of modern synthesizers The way he plays is also very soulful. I just bought a compact disc here in Greece so that i can enjoy the way Ton Koopman plays everyday. He is a very talented artist.

kansasthunderman1 I agree. Even if I prefer Cavaillé-Coll's ones. That is because I've played on a Cavaillé and not on a Muller.

Greg Symsym The baroque era organs were predominately low pressure which gives a more mellow and interesting sound. However, Cavaillé's instruments operated on a much higher pressure which in my opinion does not give the best sound for Baroque Era compositions. Organ building is characterized by a diversity of artistic interpretations and "That's why they make chocolate and vanilla".

Perhaps you have heard of T.C Lewis? He was a very famous British organ maker, but in the romantic style. He was renowned for his organs

+phulnelson Maybe theroretically correct (at least according to SOME theory), but not nice and magnificent as people are used to when hearing this piece. I think music should be rather about feeling than about dry theory

To me, the usual A-G-AAAAA -(slow) G-F-E-D- Csharp - D sounds so much nicer and more magnificent and atmospheric than those kind of small funny trills on A-G and to fast run down. It ruins the mood and feeling completely.

Esecuzione letteralmente indecente!!
