A lot of you expect "too much". To put out a dance set, doesnt mean you have to blow it up with crazy tricks and do all this crazy choreography to intense music. If you truly understood dance, you will see that jabba killed it in a different way. Yeah the performance was "chill", but look at the dance, chemistry, and musicality. This is something only jabba can do. Their originality and signature style is shown greatly. If you cant see it, you just dont understand. Come back when youre ready

Winner ^^^^^^ Perfectly said..I agree. And just so everybody knows..Bboy ERANETIK 100% knows what he is talking about and he knows Jabba better than pretty much anyone...he's even performed with them in the mask and gloves and all several times. So, if anyone tries to argue with what he just said..well, only a moron or someone that knows absolutely nothing about dance would disagree with him or try to argue with what he just said.

@MrUKFORLIFE

Nope...I'm 26 years old, you fucking idiot and a dancer..and I have even judged performances and battles and seen showcase performance around the World..And I can promise you right now..that the Jabbawockeez had an excellent/great performance here..This was the cleanest and most artistic performance at WOD LA this year..Jabbawockeez grooved and beat manipulated and rode the beats throughout this entire performance..it really was amazing..The energy didn't have to be off the wall crazy/energetic because of the ability Jabba has to listen to the music and make sound into a shape..the music doesn't control them...they control the music and they can make the simplest moves look amazing..there was a famous entertainer/singer/dancer I know that could easily do that as well..and his name was Michael Jackson..arguably the best and greatest entertainer of all time. They hit and moved to EVERY beat..it was amazing and great !! Quest was amazing as well but ONE thing they concentrated on too much was tricks and setting up for tricks..for me, setting up for tricks too much takes away from the performance..now, their energy was insane..no doubt about it but if I was judging, I would take percentage points off for that..setting up for tricks too much, I mean..Bboy Aichi's headspin was amazing and D Trix's return and air flares were amazing..Steve's flips were great too..although he almost crashed on one or two of them. I'm not telling you all of this as a fan..I'm telling you this as a dancer.

Y'all don't understand their artistry. The way they execute those sick moves; the pop/lock thing, slowmo actions, the humor style, the moves that they do which makes them look that the video is in a fast forward and slow mo style then vice versa which is not ( observe the background if you want to see ); they are a true artist. No wonder it takes time for them to make a dance video after another. They are legends. JABBA FOR LIFE!!!!

This wasn't mediocre. This is Jabba doing Jabba. I totally respect everybody's opinion so this is with all do respect to everybody. But if you look at the choreography it takes concentration and precision to pull off the number they performed. Whether it was a ripple or ticking or whatever they nailed it and that is something a lot of crews can't pull off except for a few. Jabba did not lay out a mediocre performance, they laid out a form of art and new number and they brought it to the table. They killed it to bc what they made is something that nobody can repeat bc its them and it's what they do. Yeah it wasn't hype but it was a new approach and they simply PERFECTED it. Bc usually the front man has to worry about it being clean bc he cant see whats going on behind him but he most likely didn't have to worry bc the chemistry is there and thats what makes it such a clean performance. Great job Jabba. #JABBAFANFORLIFE

This was all about their roots. Appreciate their talent for manipulating a beat so flawlessly in the tiniest of movement. We all know they can do all these athletic tricks, but see what they are doing. EACH one of those dancers was on the same level in their movements, they were in total unity. Slow songs are hard to make into a complete dance. Look at how they move, they are the only crew I've seen to be so precise in movement like that. Their roots people.

That entire senile choreography starting at 1:35 iz bout one of the dopest things i've seen in a while. it's simple movement bt at the same time can't nobody do it like them. they put so much style into that i dont even know how to explain that lol i swear i've watched that main part like 500 times lol

I can understand people when they say this looks like one of their weaker performances. But even on ABDC they kept this style of these smooth, clean movements instead of the big tricks. What makes them so amazing though is that they have these little touches and nuances that separate them from other crews. Just their synchronicity alone is worth mentioning, and it's on full display here. That alone makes it look like the music is moving them, instead of them moving with the music.

It is the worst part of getting popular I guess: the ratio of people, who can truly appreciate what you do, decreases. I'm watching these guys since 2009, it is freaking 5 years and I've got never bored with them. As they get famous (which they truly deserved) lot of people, who are not really interested or feeling the hip-hop culture, start to like them as well. But they lack something, understanding the true talent of Jabbawockeez. The illusions are still beyond amazing, the body control is like no-other, and on top of that I still cannot find anyone who can interpret music/rhythm like them (well expect Mike Song and Tony Tran, who happens to be a member now!). People are complaining about music choice... Instead of observing how they interpreted the other kinds of music, they choose to complain. Compared to what you see/understand, it is much more valuable what these guys are doing. I know that everybody have their own opinion about anything, you have the freedom to hate. But that prevents you to see the true beauty. First watch every group performance of Jabbawockeez, then their individual ones. After that you will realize that it is more than dance, it is mus.i.c, a music you can see, in other words. And additional to that, after all of their incredible achievements, they are still humble like the Piglet from Winnie the Pooh. At least try to appreciate this, people...

What people forget is that hip hop dance came from soul music. So people dance with soul and that's the essence of hip hop. Hip hop was invented by a soulful culture, and wasn't just about a bunch of tricks and acrobatic stunts. This is where the Jabawakees Rule. You have to understand the soul in the music and dance to appreciate the Jabawakees.

this dance was so nice, this is more of a rap than hiphop and their dance fits so perfectly with it . To all people saying this sucked, thats what i thought at first, but after rewatching this over and over, I realized what they were trying to do and that was to stay simple and not too complex like other groups. No flips or anything and it honestly fit perfectly well
I enjoyed it! They used a soundtrack that mixed Westcoast, Eastcost and Down South music. You cant always use the same style routines. I like Quest Crew and Poreotics also but with Quest you can always expect stunts and tutting almost looking like a cheer routine, with Poreotics you can always expect that bubbly robot/tic/popping style, but with the Jabbawockeez you never know what to expect until it happens and they actually DANCE. Using their dance to act out the words in each song.

Just FYI for people the Jabba's performed at 3 O CLOCK! Everyone wasn't even at the show yet , comparing crowd makes no sense anyway. Next Jabba & Quest are two totally different crews what you like more or who killed it?! Is all opinion, depends on preference so no need to argue over dumb stuff ya'll. Let's just enjoy the art if you thought this was boring maybe the Jabba aren't your preference, I think this was a dope piece it showed how much they have all grown as dancers. You will not see another crew that in sync, the body language, the control, these dudes really are unique. They stay true to who they are!!! They have always had this style and they aren't going to conform to another formula for someone's dislike, look where their style has gotten them?! If it ain't broke don't fix it, they are always a refreshing breathe with the flood of chreo teams their are now. Not that any of those teams are wack but I love seeing some flat out expression every once in awhile

even after all these years JABBA is still my favourite dance crew. Their fluid movements are still beast .

I've been a fan of the Jabba and Quest (The ABDC's) for years now but haven't watched much of their stuff since 11/12, amazing stuff but just couldn't find the effort to watch it like I use to. Both WOD performances are firsts I've seen in long time, I just watched Quest that brought the absolute fire, great performance that I expect from them. As for Jabba, Perhaps the reason I haven't watched their stuff of recent, I've loved their work over the years, but got repetitive. Still doesn't put down their standard, it is amazing to keep watching and a show I'd definitely give the world to watch even once, but waiting for their new material after long periods of time on youtube became a practice not worth continuing But this Jabba performance... OUT OF THIS WORLD This is another side to them, going out of their set soundtracks of The Bangerz for their live shows and feeling the music and lyrics that no other dance group can. So many sections of it got so absolute Gangsta 1:40 onwards, I couldn't handle it with such immense amount of Swag with their Sock it to me Section from 4:00. I can only guess its Phil at the front usually leading the way bringing srs hood to the performance that stands out so much, Sure they're all ridiculously in sync but he adds his only little mouth wipe at 4:45 or his extra detailed arm groove at 4:55. This performance reminded me just why the Jabba's were my favourite and perhaps always will be regardless if I keep up with their newer stuff or not because no matter who you watch in their performance, they're all on point. AMAZING

for me and aldren, jabbawockeez will always kill the performance. because they have shown us consistently that they are dancing to express over to impress. from their concept, then everything follows. Geez. The choreo, the beats, the approach, the slowmo, the glitch, the details, the story telling and everything. ahh~ it'll always be great to see their outputs from doing more experimental choreos on musics.. they must have known that their real fans would be satisfied on the details they are giving. not so fun, not so wow, not so explosive others said. but still, very clean, smooth and the quality of jabba is still there. it'll always be an effin great time jabba, it will always be~

It wasn't explosive and energetic like QuestCrew or trendy and fun like Poreotics, but Jabba gets full credit here for doing what they always do best; having musicality that's gripping because it's so on point. It's like synesthesia where you can hear their movements or you can visualize the music because it's so alive and dynamic.

Interestingly this was done during intermission, World of Dance had approached Jabba to do future collaborations despite doing a fulltime gig headlining the Luxor at Las Vegas show which is groundbreaking & Effing amazing.. Let me begin with the sets, the use of several types of solo freestyles, musicality, krump, the use of new school & ol school music especially that three member section of Paul Revere by Beastie Boys! ....

They have so much control by the way they move, and they actually KILLED it out there. This is their style and no one else can do it like they do. Their attention to detail and creativity is what I love about them. So original.

As a civilian (non dancer) this was and still is the most hype evoking routine I've ever seen. I saw this maybe 10 years ago looking for an 8 flavaz routine I saw on TV; and realized I had no idea the depth of talent and representation of emotion that came with dance Bru! This is fucking dancing! This crew is dance before mainstream. They represent passion and love before it was profitable to be a KZitem, social media dancer. I have and always will come back to this routine through the years to witness talent + birth right at its grandest!!!!
