Although you may successfully pair your Elite 4 Active with your computer, it is neither intended nor tested for that purpose. Therefore, we cannot guarantee performance and are unable to recommend this type of usage. Thank you.

For older users- and I a one- having dark earbuds against a dark background makes it really hard to see how they should be worn. (And white type on mint-mine- doesn't show up either.) So I will be looking for third party videos that value instruction over style.

Hello siddhartha panda- Thank you for your question. The Jabra Elite 4 Active is optimized for use with a mobile device such as a smartphone or tablet. Some users may have success pairing a Jabra Bluetooth device with a computer and then connecting to a softphone client such as Microsoft Teams. However, the full functionality of the Jabra device may not be available. For example, you may be able to send and receive audio, but the buttons may not work for call controls the way they would with a mobile device. If you do pair with a computer or unsupported device, note that it must support the following: - The Hands-Free (HFP) or Headset (HSP) Bluetooth profile. - The Advanced Audio Distribution Profile (A2DP) Bluetooth profile. - In addition, ensure that all devices, including your Jabra device, are up to date with the latest firmware/software. When pairing your Jabra Bluetooth device, follow the same steps that you would for pairing with a mobile device. To troubleshoot challenges when connected to a computer or softphone client, try the following steps: Check that the Bluetooth connection is active on the computer. - Remove the previous pairing and re-pair. - Reset your Jabra Bluetooth device. - Ensure that you have the latest version of the softphone client installed. - Ensure that your Jabra device is selected as the audio device on your computer and the softphone client. Hello, we got a Jabra elite 4 active quite a while ago and we’ve been having difficulty pairing it. We haven’t used the device in a while as for some reason the left earbud isn’t working and we lost our receipt so we couldn’t swap it for a new one. However my father has decided to use them again and we’ve tried searching for the device on three different apple phones but the all apple phones never detects the device. For some reason a Samsung phone can detect the device but my dad is an apple phone user. Do you have any suggestions as to what could have gone wrong?

Hello Hage - It takes up to 2 hours to fully charge the earbuds and up to 3.5 hours to charge the case and earbuds. When the earbuds are at low battery, 10 minutes of charge time will give up to 60 minutes of battery. This fast charge option requires that the charging case has a minimum of 30% battery. You can check the current battery status of the earbuds and charging case in the Jabra Sound+ app.

Finding the right eargel size for you is vital, as the eargel will create a seal around the exterior of your ear canal, thus enhancing the device's noise cancellation. You can also customize the Active Noise Cancellation on your Jabra Elite 4 Active to fine-tune the functionality to meet your needs. To personalize ANC, go to the Settings icon > Personalize your headset > Active Noise Cancellation.

Hello - Thank you for your question. We recommend you use the included USB charging cable (or for some products, the included AC adapter) to charge your Jabra device. If you use a third-party option, we recommend the following guidelines: - Use a USB charger that is safety-certified for use in the country you are located in. - Ensure the plug fits properly in the wall outlet. - Do not charge the device if the charging ports or charger are wet or damaged. Charging will occur, until the battery is fully charged, within the normal working temperate range of 0ºC to 45ºC. Outside of this range, charging will cease so as to protect the battery and product, for example from overheating.

My buds are having problem connecting to the phone. So I removed them from the paired list on android. I take the buds out of its case and press on both for 3 seconds. Red lights flash, it doesnt go into pairing mode.

@@Jabra I'm having the same issue as well, first time pairing the earpods into my android phone it was working very well and then the second day I took the earpods out of the case and turned on the bluetooth and it says (no devices found) despite pressing on both sides for 3 seconds, red lights flash and it doesn't go into pairing mode. is the red lights indicates low battery??

If the LED on your earbud flashes red when you press the button on the earbud, that means the earbuds are off. If the LED is solid red after you open the lid of your charging case, your earbuds have a low battery level but are still charging. If the LED flashes red in this instance, the earbuds have a critically low battery and are not charging in the case.
