Thanks for the review, excellent as always. I like your typing test which is particularly relevant in my case. Wonder why the noise cancellation seems to do a better job for loud background noises but a lesser job with typing noise as we can hear the typing clearly? Maybe another test with the background noise and type at the same type to stimulate such an environment perhaps. Thank you!

The clarity of voice in Jabra Evolve2 40 is better. But the noise cancellation for both Evolve2 30 and Evolve2 40 are the same. Can you do a comparison of Evolve 40 and Evolve2 40? How is the wire of both Evolve 40 and Evolve2 40?

I am using the Jabra evolve 30 ii with two air cups. In this video for Jabra evolve 30ii, the mic position wasn't right. you know it is bendable and if you keep it a bit bent towards your face, it sounds much better. for Jabra evolve 2 30, the naturally position is a bit bent towards the face already. To me they both sounds almost same. I tested mine again and compared with yours. :P By the way, great video.

Hi Atomic Chill! Based on my tests, I felt the Evolve2 30 mic performed better than the Evolve2 40 but the speaker output quality of the Evolve2 40 was stronger. You would be making a good choice either way. The Evolve2 30 is a no frills, plug and play USB corded headset that just works. Contact us directly if you have more questions! Hello friend, I need to use a USB-C to USB-A adapter to connect it to my computer. Do you have any idea if this could affect the quality of the experience and its functionalities? Thanks! A hug from Argentina.

Hi Javier! Thanks for watching and supporting our channel! My current laptop only has 3 USB-C ports so I frequently use USB-A to USB-C adapters with no issues. I have also used USB-C to USB-A adapters with no problems (I am aware of). Moving forward, you will see headset brands include both USB-C and USB-A adapters in the box. Logitech has been doing this with their headsets, Jabra, HP Poly, and EPOS are starting to also.

Hi there. Great series! What would you recommend as a headset with mic for working from home? There is usually some background noise from the fan (or kids). Was hoping for a noise cancelling headset but those seem quite pricy. Appreciate your insights and expertise. Thank you.

I’m trained with recorded lines in a financial institution and the most audio clear (for me) is the evolve2 30. The keyboard sounded like a drizzle and the background sounded like murmur. Which favors us in case we have meetings and sudden birthday celebrations during our calls in the office. We also use jabra at work. Just don’t know what type. But over time jabra headphones tend to hurt my ear after 8 hours of calls.

Bro your channel is the best I have seen, amazing compares and reviews. I am looking for a wireless budget friendly headphone with mic that should have incredible background noise cancellation. Can you suggest me one. I came across jabra evolve 2 65 but the price is expensive for me. Do you have similar performance headphone from other brand

@@CallOneInc I looked into evolve 2 65 but since it does not have the ANC feature I didn't like it. I need passive and active noise cancelation. The main idea for me is to block outside noise, especially when I work from hone my tv is running and my baby is talking and cheering to the tv songs. So I want to completely block these so that I can attend my meetings peacefully. Atleast they can hear me better 😅

In Australia the cost of the 240 is a giant leap from the 230 series ($120aud vs $210aud), almost makes it easier to go for the 265 wireless as it is only ($285aud) currently on Amazon lol.... crazy how electronics get priced down under lol!

Hi deepanshu parashara! It’s dependent on your needs. Both the Jabra Evolve 65 and 75 connect to a computer and mobile device. The key difference is the Evolve 75 has Active Noise Canceling (ANC) speakers. They are also larger speakers and from our tests, the Evolve 75 has stronger NC mic. There is a price difference. The Evolve 75 costs more than Evolve 65. The Evolve 65 is also available in single and dual ear models.

Question is it ok to buy Jabra evolve 30ii without the USB volume control? Just the 3.5mm jack for call center work?
@CallOneInc
2 жыл бұрын
Hi Owel James Cenidoza! Thanks for watching and submitting your question! I don't see that as an option via the Jabra Price List provided to Authorized Resellers. However, to answer you question. If your computer supports 3.5mm headsets that support both receive and transmit audio, it's an option but not the optimal. If connecting to a computer, it's best to utilize the appropriate UC or MS and USB-A or USB-C variants. This would also allow you to make any firmware updates via Jabra Direct. Can you please share more info on your setup? Another issue you may run into is not enough cord length.

The Evolve 2 40 i just purchased does not have the mute button or light working except in agreed apps that have integrations with Jabra, like Zoom. It is absurd that Jabra 40 worked fine without integrations, and now the upgrade is a huge downgrade! My company bought a big batch of them and they are all like this, software and all installed. Jabra support is pathethic, they ask you the same questions over and over.
