It’s crazy to think that 12 years ago I sat in this dude’s tour “bus” and played him my band’s ep and he sat and critiqued it for 30 minutes. Then an hour later my band opened for his band. A night that will always be up there for me. Jack and the rest of Steel Train are nice dudes. Crazy to see how big he’s gotten on the production side of things.

These kinds of comments are usually taken poorly by fans of the original artist (in this case, Sublime), but remember that the remaining members of Sublime really appreciated Lana Del Rey's cover of the song. I think the cover is superior to the original as well. It takes good things about Sublime's sound and good things about Lana's sound and evokes both.
