These Redfin Anthias (Nemanthias dispar) are busy feeding when a jack dives down quickly and snatches one for its meal. After the attack, everything soon returns to normal. I magnified the jack; the white tips on the dorsal and anal fins, plus the faint bars on its side suggest that it is a young Bigeye Trevally (Caranx sexfasciatus). There was a large school of them nearby at the entrance to Saies Tunnel. Palau, April 21, 2024.
