I've often imagined the Stark anchored in Kailua Bay; from my view in Holualoa, 1500 ft. elevation, it would sparkle bright white in the deep blue. But that's what he would have seen, for He was in Holualoa also, 100 years ago! Aloha❤

Jack London was an AMAZING person. John Barleycorn broke my heart when I read it. I have struggled with addiction too and I see how much it affected him. He was a true hero in so many ways...

He was created as a man and author by sea adventure when he was 17, he fulfilled his dream, when he was adult - made Stark and he has got his end after tropic illnesses which followed his Snark adventures. What made him live and happy finally killed him. His life is kind of a surfing of big grand wave.

Wolf Mate did not live for what the world thought of him, but for what he thought of himself. We have much to learn from him about living with intention.❤️
