Polis are different varieties, according to the puran they have. This is a poli by using jackfruit pulp. The kanaka making method and rolling process are same as any other polis, but the puran is the cooked pulp of jackfruit. The pulp is cooked with jaggery and ghee until it turns into ball consistency. make balls of both cooked pulp and kanaka and gently stuff the puran balls inside the kanaka ball. Roll the ball gently and cook both the sides. That results in a tasty jackfruit poli.
Ingredients:
Jackfruit pulp- 10 kgs
jaggery- 2 kgs
ghee- 1/2 ltr
maida
coconut oil
water
