I remember when my mother and I went to see Jackie Mason live. We had our makeup on and left with our makeup off because we couldn’t stop laughing. I also remember Jackie making a reference to Starbucks with a Jewish star and the word “bucks.” He was a comedic genius!

I remember when I experienced all the things Mason was talking about including the long lines for coffee in a shopping mall. I would love to know the techniques Starbucks used that caused people to accept the obvious abuse of the Starbucks phenomenon. What was the appeal to get customers?
