I have always loved this so much. They know why they have the privilege of playing their music for others and they are showing their appreciation. True artists. It is always special when performers and an audience enjoy each other.

Jackson Browne classic song incredible artist

Jackson Browne started his career writing songs for other artists such as the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band (he was briefly a member in 1966) & the Eagles (Browne co-wrote "Take It Easy"). But in the 70's he started recording his own songs. He had a lot of hits 70's-80's such as "Doctor, My Eyes", "Rock Me On The Water", "Here Come Those Tears Again", "The Pretender", "Running On Empty", "Somebody's Baby", "Tender Is The Night" etc.

Another beautiful reaction, Miss Sarah. ❤ Jackson Browne has long been one of my favorite musicians. He writes, plays and sings with such passion. He co-wrote the epic Eagles hit, "Take it Easy," which you really must give a listen. It was their first single released in 1972, and their career is now spanned over 50 years. Thanks, my dear friend, for your passionate and soulful ear. 😉

this is a great example of what music and movie reactions are all about. It was a pleasure sharing this tune with you. Thanks so much! Amazing how many details seem to reveal in this medium, because of the little extra attention that comes with it. The focus. That verse we never quite listened to every line. The solo maybe we spaced out a bit on and missed part of. Fascinating. Fun :)

Very nice reaction to a great song. I saw him in Boston shortly after his Running on Empty album was out. He ended the concert this exact way and the emotion and love Jackson had to his road crew was immense and honest.

Thank for this reaction, Sarah! I enjoyed your obvious delight in the entire song, and got a kick that you recognized the steel lap guitar guy (David Lindley) following the wonderful Rosemary Butler with that second (falsetto) phrasing of the "Stay..." verse. Almost everybody figures out that it's a fantastic song & performance, but not everybody notices the extra sweet little tidbits like that one. Count me as a 'Like & Subscriber' 🙂

I saw this tour in helLA, Sarah... And as great as Jackson was/is, he was matched by the incomparable blues-heavy Bonnie Raitt, who also has great live tunes. And you already knew about DavidLindley. Of course. Thanx for another soulful reaction!

Thanks again Sarah! I see from what the other commenters are writing that the slide guitarist who sang the falsetto part of "Stay" was David Linley. He has a great song from the 80's called "Mercury Blues". Maybe it could be slid in at the bottom of your list? Take care,
